Gundam Wing 21-25

Gundam Wing is definitely hitting its stride. None of the episodes have been bad and everyone is just really good. Its starting to meet Age as my favorite Gundam. The deep character interactions and their motivations as they change dynamically as truths are revealed is really well done. The characters among each faction and how they interact with one other, yesterdays enemies are now allies wholly belieavable and satisfying with the possibilities it enabled. Specifically

Lady Une and her inner battle with what she wants and who she wants to support was was pretty intense. Really the best female in a mech series thus far. I liked how she utilized the gundam pilots skills, interacted and trusted them, and even saved them at the end game after realizing that what she wanted was not in line with what the new Oz and Rommahfella foundation wanted. Her death was tragic and really emotional, just as emotional as Trowa's sacrifice when confronted with Quatre. I really hope that somehow he is still living and they can all resolve their differences.

I wish they were even more episodes than the 49 as I abandon all these characters. Milliardo Peacecraft and Trieze need way more screentime as we go on. I hope.

Well, KyoAni has basically said that they're just using the first volume of the LN as a base and will be coming up with much of the material for the anime themselves.

(They also said "There's a surprise planned like Haruhi's shuffling episodes". I wonder what it'll be.)

I just started Sayonara Zetsobou Sensei because there will be Joshiraku this and the next weeks. And Joshiraku is cute and funny and stuff, I like it a lot but Zetsobou is the real deal! And it helps that I forgot many jokes, though I don't know if it really a good thing or not.

The full version of Marble is definitely better than the full version of Try Unite. It's probably one of the better anime OPs in full version. Full out amazing near the end. I liked Try Unite more initially but goddamn at this.

The second half of Marble is godlike. Seriously godlike the way it builds into the first half. It's really really impressive, one of the better crescendos I've heard in awhile, regardless of genre. I'm actually surprised how much I like it.
