I've pretty much liked all KyoAni work I've seen, though I would say I like Haruhi S1 just a little bit better than K-On. Lucky Star and Nichijou I liked as well. Hyouka I'm not current with, but the first four eps didn't do a lot for me for some reason. Might pick it up again when I have more time.

WHOA. This episode was absolutely incredible. Everything from the great animation and background work to the engaging back-and-forth strategy and Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 were all put together so masterfully I was literally stunned with awe. Holy shit.

LOGH is an extremely long OVA series, after all. Sometimes they really pull out all the stops and the results are fairly spectacular.

That's in response to Cagliostro or Cowboy Bebop, I'm assuming the former? What's the sense in mastering in interlaced fields when DVDs are progressive? It sounds like it would be interesting.

The DVDs are progressive though, they were HD masters downscaled for the DVD release
