It's funny, because this was probably the least suggestive popsicle eating I have ever seen in an anime.

Also, there's 25 episodes for this series so far right? From what I heard there'll be one more arc after this one and that'll wrap up the show.
I'm betting that
Chiyu will be the final antagonist.
Does she die? It's the only way it'll be redeemed. That way TakuxHaru will happen and Kuroyukihime will belong with Sky Raker as she rightfully deserves.
I have no idea since i never read the manga. But in my head it will end with
lots of dead avatars.

It's kind of amazing how fast the relationships are moving but I guess that happens when it's based on a josei manga. I can't imagine what this show will be like by the end, it's already nearly pure suffering.

Eating food is actually an extremely important part of Natsuyuki Rendezvous. Nearly every single episode so far features a couple eating a meal together.
I guess the author really thought those scenes allow for a certain level of dialogue because, well, when you're sitting and eating with another human being it's an ideal time for some conversation.
Yeah but if you make the food look too delicious your audience will get distracted.

Something that I thought Accel World actually did right is that Kuroyukihime becomes progressively more human after meeting Cartman, who is presumably her first real friend in a long time.
