Epic action, eng voice for Taku really works well and probably his best set of lines yet, same for Nomi too. Eng dialogue for the great display of friendship was wonderful.

K - 5 (engDub watch)

JYB did a good job with the Misaki part for Fushimi (though I guess it was impossible to try to emulate the jpn va for it), still, sounded rather well and seductive for Misaki, and enough to fire him up for their great fight. Best episode yet.

I'm kinda suppose to be going to a nerd board-game event in a hour.. with a costume.. except I never got around to buying one.

So I'm just going show up in green.. pretty sure that's what gumby is suppose to look like anyway.

I remember when I checked their website earlier this summer, it hasn't been updated in like a year and then you had the new KnK movie coming out and the FS/N project, I thought it had quietly been canned or shelved.

Wut? That's clearly not true. They announced it last year. There was a slight update in December. Then at TAF in March they revamped the entire site with a new trailer and a new title, and more details. Now they have another trailer and the release date. An update every 3-5 months is pretty normal for a film...

Steins;Gate 21-22

21 was sort of a boring, building episode. Mostly existed to further build the emotional hooks needed for 22 to work.

But man, did 22 work so damn well. It's clearly supposed to be a "false" ending, but damn if it still didn't really hit my emotions hard. It had me near tears multiple times. Beautifully executed. Super well paced, nicely edited, well scripted. This episode had everything it needed to work really well for me.

Now to see what crazy thing happens to drag the story back to a crazy conclusion.

It's Otakon time now? Cool. Don't really pay attention to when cons are happening, so it's always comes to be a surprise for me when one happens.

This has to be the one where whoever grabbed Hunter x Hunter (*cough* Funimation *cough*) finally announces plans for it, right? It has to be.

I forget who that little guy who follows Simon around is.

That was pretty ballsy/reckless/insane of Kamina to just put Lagann on top of Gurren like that. The drill ended up being, like, not even a foot from his head. But hey, whatever works. I don't know how that worked, but it did. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures; after all, that "human eradication squad" or whatever dude's Beastman was kicking Gurren's ass.

Now they're off to the base of these Gunmen. Sparks are surely going to fly.

Great designs, great animation, good camera work, why filters why. This may be within my tolerance levels depending how good the rest of the direction is though. Wonder why the staff hasn't been revealed yet.

Coppelion just makes me wish for more K, the character cast would feel perfect for this setting as it seems like an extension of their location in jpn. Jealous over electricity attacks. Otherwise seems uninteresting.

The explosion was nice, though this and the other anime on today, remind me of a post I made expressing despair at the new trend in anime, which seems to be continuing on tonight.

I thought this looked really familiar. It reminded me visually of Mezzo DSA and sure enough its done by ARMS. Good stuff. Will watch!

It was
Okarin depressed and lethargic over the choice of Kurisu and Mayurin. Okarin and Kurisu admitting that they love each other. Okarin and Kurisu having a pretty amazing goodbye scene and Okarin returning to the original timeline and throwing out the phone microwave.
