Tragic victim of fan death
I wouldn't even attribute trolling to it - the movie is simply bad.

This. 3.0 or 3.33 or whatever shit you wanna call it is a heaping mess of a movie that tries to infodump shit onto its audience cuz Anno is a fucking hack who can't tell his story properly. There. I said it.

Yami Shibai is soo good. But soooooo short..wish it could get a full-length version with multiple shorts per episode.

Watched the first six, gonna marathon the last six at the end of the month. Are there any other horror/ghost anime similar?

So it seems MALgraph redesigned their site again.
Notable is the addition of a new Romance anime achievement like their Manime, Mecha etc achievements. They also revamped recommendations which I'm not sure I like right now, franchise completion was useful I thought as an extra. Also RIP scores per year graph :(
Edit: They seem to be having trouble migrating people to the new layout right now and updating profiles so it might take some time for profiles to load. They also seem to have increased the update rate from the MAL site which also makes mattters worse.

About the only thing I can really say about this movie is that at least Shinji didn't have a fucking clue what was going on either.

Orchestrated Hedgehog's Dilemma was nice though.

lol seriously Gendo still the ultimate chessmaster? God, I have no idea what's even happening anymore. Yay

yay, Asuka. At least you know what's going on.

I'm assuming rolling the ED with 6 minutes to go had to do with n editing error on CR's source. Very weird.
Anyway. Fun episode focused on Karen and Ayaya. I wish they took the :SDBurton further but I know they won't. Such a shame every one of these shows are.

Kimi no Iru Machi 8

This anime has too many damn time skips, cutting out lots of details from the manga. It seems the anime has cut out all of Haruto's friends / supporting cast even though they were mentioned in the early episodes. The problem is the Hiroshima friends / supporting cast is what makes Kimi no Iru Machi so enjoyable. They should have never started this anime from the Tokyo arc to begin with.

Scrap this entire gonzo production and do it over from the beginning and do it right please. For an adaptation with plenty of source material I have no clue why they decided to start the series off where they did. It's confusing.

The Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai movie is out in Japan now!! I want to see it!

Doesn't read OPs, especially not his own
EVANGELION 2.22 OR 2.0 OR WHATEVER
pretty enjoyable, especially in a thead full of people, mari is hot

Sunday with out God - Episode 7-8

I'm really enjoying this show but this third story arc was a little bit disappointing.

The introduction of other humans with 'abilities' made it a a bit too 'fantastical' to me, regardless of the whole, can't die and the witch from the previous arc. These special humans really threw me out of the universe and it felt like I was watching a completely different show. The tone and pace was also noticeably different.

That said, I still enjoyed the episodes and I'm hoping it picks up and returns to being similar to the look and feel of the 'Ortus' episodes.

I assume because they knew going in that they couldn't just do a simple retelling given its such a long manga.

I haven't read the manga, but I've been enjoying the anime so far. I haven't seen 8 yet, but I was a bit surprised by 7.

It seemed like they were telegraphing complete success for the surgery and his return as a strong opponent for Haruto and his fight for Yuzuki.

The complete format of Kyousogiga TV has been announced. Each full length episode in the series will be made of up 3 shorter chapters of about 7 minutes each. There will be 10 episodes in total. The recap episodes are 5.5 and 10.5, and there will also be a special program as previously announced, possibly a pre-air preview thing on the time slot, making it run for 13 weeks in total. So there we have it. 30 short chapters of Kyousogiga coming this Fall. Delicious isn't it? I can't believe this is really happening! :D

Kick Heart

I liked it.

Kick-Heart

So trippy... so lighthearted... yet so hotblooded. Pretty good small little comedic short.

Kick-Heart

Well, that was really fucking weird. Also somewhat a waste of my time.
At least it had a... unique style.

edit: oh, and the joke with the
super-loud porn vending machine
was amusing.

So, that Kick Heart was actually pretty fun.

You guys are making me regret that I was unable to watch it :(

Since MALgraph processes about 8 users per minute,
this shouldn’t take more than 242 minutes.

Delicious indeed. If these are at the same level as last year's shorts, it'll be an amazing experience. Thank you Banpresto and Toei.

Hunter x Hunter Episode 94 – Friend X And X Journey

Why is Killua so awesome, it still remains one of the biggest unanswered questions in anime. He is just too good and awesome. Phenomenal episode
was in so many tears there when he cried, it was hard to watch and rough to get through seeing him like that with teary eyes and gripping and such but he just pushed through with sheer determination and will power against values taught at his very core. I clapped in praise and was so glad that he delivered what was needed for this whole arc. Hyped for many more things he may do.

Good comedy.

Yeah, glad to see Killua back to being a badass. But I still don't know why this took 2 weeks, holidays or something?

I'm getting a bit tired of Palm.

Attack on Titan: 21.

About damn time.

I either expected this series to be into the 100's of episodes, or it would end too damn quickly.

Haibane Renmei

Such a gem. This has been on my "too watch someday" list ever since I saw the preview for it on my Chobits DVD's about eight years ago.

Genshiken Nidaime - 9

Well, it looks like things may explode next episode. I got a kick out of Kuchiki cosplaying
Matsudaira from Gintama. All we need is for him to do a Wakamoto impression. :p

And.

Gurren Lagann Movie #1

I needed a break from thinking about Evangelion.

Anyway, I was certain that this would go all the way up until Teppelin, but combining the four (three) generals into a single epic boss battle beatdown was both a brilliant move of timing, made perfect plot sense (in the idea that they'd all want to crush Dai-Gurren immediately after they proved themselves a threat to any General) and allowed for the incredibly satisfying three-stage beatdown as Simon and Nia annihilate bird dude, the Black siblings took out the tortoise and Yoko got her boobs out (unintentionally!) fighting Scorpanok. I mean Adielle.

Timing is incredibly, incredibly rushed but what can you do, it's a recap movie.

Had some hilarious moments especially the initial shrine scene and then the warming up scene.
Yasuburo saving the day with the buttering up the professor scene was probably my favorite moment. So stubborn yet always able to be won over somehow.

Yes. I don't know if they plan on rebooting the story or anything, but the original 30min short and the subsequent five shorts which are ~10mins each do a great job of fleshing out the characters and the world. I think it'll definitely enhance the enjoyment of the new series.

Not sure why Kyousogiga needs recap episodes, but I agree that the short-form episode structure they're using fits the series better than trying to make traditional full-length episodes.

I think they just need to fill the 13 weeks of broadcast, but they have 10 episodes of material. At least they're being honest up front.

Pretty great to hear they are keeping the same format as before, just putting three together for even more enjoyment!

I see what you're doing you tricksy anime.
The younger brother can't stay transformed to save his life, the mother can't stay transformed during lightning, and the Dad was unable to transform in the presence of Benten (keeping him from escaping the cage perhaps). We know Sensei is out looking to catch a tanuki, and the next episode has lightning going. Will it be his mother, his little brother, or...? I guess we'll find out.

Anime saved, etc.

Patlabor OVA 3-

The real winner in this episode was the sound, both the effects and soundtrack. I fucking died when they played the Godzilla roar over the different plan names. Also that soundtrack when the beast just walked back into the ocean is something that could have been from the Hulk 70's TV series.
It was also kinda funny how on-the-nose this episode was, such as the parade seeing the heroes off. The mad scientist even laughed despite realizing he had doomed the entire human race.

Silver Spoon 8

We finally get to see Hachiken's
big brother Shingo. The adaption did a great job introducing one of the best characters in the series and his role was even expanded from the original manga chapters. Was great to also hear what Hachiken's father sounds like even though we don't get to see him yet.
Overall this was a great episode with good humor and also some drama in the form of Hachiken's
accident with milk.

Space Brothers 71

Plot twist time!
Hibito's
panic disorder
sure came out of left field. It's actually kind of clever of the creators to have kept this hidden for so long, though I don't remember there being any hints towards this in any of the earlier episodes. The twist IMO still worked really well and while the series has still been good for the last 20 or so episodes this is the first time since the moon arc that I'm actually really exited for next week's episode.

Dear R.I.P,

Could you be so kind as to hide more of your post in regards to Space Brothers episode 71. I know you made an attempt and used the spoiler tag. As it currently stands, with out highlighting the spoiler, my mind is already formulating ideas as to what will be happening in the episode. True theories or not, I will now be going in to the episode with a viewpoint I otherwise never would have. In turn this may lessen the effect of what ever events may transpire.

Sincerely,

Mr. Minsc

Kevin and the heaven's ecstasy to get into him was probably my favorite scene mainly for the above moments and then later how sleeping William Twining llooked (realist commentary too).
Surprising Dantalion showed up to help suppress bluebeard. They could have tried to connect the dots between him and Uriel though Im only assuming that they might be implicated with each other based on that Solomon flashback and how crushed Solomon was.

This sets up a KyoAni lead girl faceoff next round. Rikka will likely crush Tamako, though.
