Symphogear G (I watched the first series and am thus obliged to continue)
Gatchaman Crowds (I know next to nothing about this franchise but I'll be damned if this doesn't look cool)
Kin'iro Mosaic (looks like the best of this season's moe anime)
Silver Spoon (because everybody thinks it's great or something. And it's Arakawa.)

Sen'yu S2 (not a fan of super-short anime, so I never watched the first series and will not be watching this either)
Recorder and Randsell Mi (see above)
Teekyu S2 (see above again)
Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS (I love lolis, but I was bored to death when I tried to watch the first episode of the first series of this. Dropped and never coming back)
High School DxD NEW (I know nothing about this series and nothing about it catches my eye and its a sequel so yeah not happening)
Tamayura More Aggressive (I think I tried to watch an episode of this once and it seemed like all :firehawk and nothing actually engaging in the slightest)

Max Heart singlehandedly zapped my enthusiasm for Precure but Im trying to regain excitement for it. I might finish Max Heart just to prove to it that it cant keep me down.

3 freaking hours later and I'm caught up. Damnit, I'm meant to playing Rune Factory 2 so I never have to see it again.

I do like the pessimistic opening post for the thread though. It suitably dampens all my enthusiasm for shows that are upcoming leaving nothing but bitterness. Except for Tamayura. That's as close as we'll ever get to more delicious Aria (until someone adapts Amanchu) even if it does star the utterly hateful Yuka Iguchi. Augh. People say Omigawa is bad? She has nothing on her.

Perhaps some of the reason I liked Afterschool Midnighters so much is that I'm not really one for watching movies in general - I lack the concentration unless I'm stuck inside a cinema. The last Pixar movie I saw was Toy Story 2 on release and that was almost 14 years ago.

Oh, ages were mentioned in the previous thread. I'm 27 which didn't feel all that old until some of you lot started posting your own ages...

Final note, sad to see Yuyushiki gone even though I'm only halfway through. I'm a sucker for aimless meandering programs like that but it looks like it's not doing great on sales (I think?) so that's probably the last we'll see of it.

You're...actually not far off the mark with Rozen Maiden. Looking back, its a pretty silly show that clearly belongs back when it was made. Buuuut...its cute and it has Suigintou...and shes awesome.

Thats usually the best way to go. Several shows start out promising and fizzle out. some shows get forgotten but some...well they surprise the hell out of everybody.
