Watch Turning Girls!
Turning Girls is no Inferno Cop.
It can't be worse than Winter. This is the worst season of anime.

I posted this in the One Piece thread:
You wanted Sentai...whom has been known to not include OVA's and have numerous issues with their BDs to get it?
Love Lab 1
What we have here is a Sakuga display of a budding relationship between two girls. A Smart yet.... not smart girl, and Fanged McBadgirlton, and the latters potential look into girls.
What I watched gives me the feeling that it'll be like the soft feel of women's skin on a woman's hand. Elegant and loving at the same time. I'm keeping my eye out for this one.
where are your KyoAni gods now!
I really need to catch up on this. I watched the first episode a while back and it was, to my infinite shame, kind of my bag
Watch Aishiteruze baby
Sorry, I got nothin'.Not getting the point here. Anyone wanna help me out here?
School life sucks , but i know from experience that real life is worse. But anime always make me remember the good memories of school.
Viz also announced that they have licensed Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet! Coming to BD/DVD next year, with the OVAs included.
Danganronpa - 01
I was somewhat underwhelmed by this, but it's still a pretty interesting start. I liked the art style and the general setup of the story, at least, although I'm pretty indifferent towards the production values. I'll give it a few more episodes.
C3-bu - 01
This, I had a lot of fun with. The first half had me chuckle and smile a lot more than I expected, given some of the other impressions in this thread, and the eventual battle scene mixed with the music was just icing. It didn't look too bad on the technical side, either. Also, everyone on this show is lovely, it's hard to choose favorites. XD
This one's a definite keeper, so far. c:

Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C³-bu Ep. 1
Not baaaaad, in fact it was actually pretty fun. The inner gun-nerd in me is probably talking but I enjoyed the first episode quite a bit despite the painfully boring first half. They should've just kept the introduction similar to the manga which had copious amounts of pseudo-yuri (NSFW).
I am overwhelmed. This show looks great, is pretty funny and can carry the jokes with its animation. It bit off just the right amount to do an introduction episode where everything doesn't feel like a perfunctory overview and instead things were just fun from the get go. Like seriously the quality of this just blew me away.
Love Lab 1 aka sakuga.mkv
so much sakuga i dead and went to MAD heaven
Love Lab - 01
Declaration of no men plaguing this show? Check.
Girls fawning over their fellow maidens? Check.
Princess and Wild Child OTP? Check.
All of my everything to the power of infinity. Universe.
Even if it is they are doing waaaaaaaaaaay more with the animation in Love Lab. It is leaps ahead.I'm sure I noted it back when the info was first revealed, but... Love Lab really is pretty much the entire YuruYuri staff working on near the same kind of show, isn't it?
Rolling post for select info from the Viz/Neon Alley panel Q&A:
- also plan bringing Gargantia to Neon Alley
- Bring Denno Coil to the US? Good question, it's a series we looked at multiple times, it's excellent. We haven't been able to acquire it, it's something we continue to look at
- long answer about the state of Monster: (paraphrasing) the best way to show that you want more of something is to buy it when it comes out...there was a huge push for monster, gorgeous box set, but unfortunately it did not catch on as much as planned...i can't give a definititve answer but there is no current plan at this time
You're right. This is pretty awesome. And Yuzuzu is great, she really feels like a real kid and not a small adult.
Symphogear G 1
Looks like they were able to iron out the production issues of season 1, because damn does this look great.
Don't toy with me!
Oh, definitely -- even from just the first half of the episode so far this is some insane animation quality for a comedy show -- to the point that I would joke they're going to run out of budget too fast.Even if it is they are doing waaaaaaaaaaay more with the animation in Love Lab. It is leaps ahead.
I wanna be excited but it sounds like a stock "please keep on checking our line-up regularly" answer.- Bring Denno Coil to the US? Good question, it's a series we looked at multiple times, it's excellent. We haven't been able to acquire it, it's something we continue to look at

I don't think we'll be seeing anymore of that infamous walking scene

They should've just kept the introduction similar to the manga which had copious amounts of pseudo-yuri (NSFW). The main characters introduced so far seem charming and likable enough, but something about Rento's voice acting kinda grated on me throughout the episode. Her seiyuu seems to be relatively new so I'm hoping it'll grow on me as the series goes on.
Loved the music that complemented the introductory mock-battle as I'm a sucker for instrumental jazz. Not the strongest way to begin a series but if the mock-battles continue to be this enjoyable, then I might've found a very serviceable show to fill the void that Girls und Panzer has left in me.
Also, I really loved that ED song.
Teeny tiny extremities, even moreso than K-On! in proportion to the rest of the body.
I spy 3DPD in the background. INVALIDATED

I just got through with Hataraku Maou-sama! Pls tell me it's selling well enough for the possibility of a second season.
So happy for Love Lab. This thread will be filled with more love with weeklong withdrawals and sakuga animosity
Given how all of the other shows that I'm interested in don't start until next week, I could give Love Lab a shot.
I'm sure I noticed it back when the info was first revealed, but... Love Lab really is pretty much the main YuruYuri staff and studio working on near the same kind of show, isn't it?
Not like I needed more confirmation that Metal Gear was starting to eat into Kojima's brain, but still. :/
