The production takes a very fucking terrible nose dive in quality and a shitton of inconsistencies, this is as bad as Psycho Pass. Funny how the fanservice in tits and ass is still high quality drawing. smh.

Red head girl continue to be the best.

We shouldn't just let go of meanings behind words. I especially explained on this specific word why. Most people are still able to differenciate between a child in an anime and a loli. Calling a normal child a loli gives wrong implications.
Just because some people don't care anymore what the words they're and people talking with them using it isn't an argument for letting it slide with anime terms.
It makes a difference if you talk about an anime as the one about the "guy who adopts a loli" or as the one about the "guy who adopts a child".

A child is the norm, a loli is an abnormality.

Well, technically yes, but it's less about lolis themselves and more about the correct usage of terms in discussions.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I am thinking, too (although I don't know about old dudes being nessecaery involved).

I just wanted to argue properly, most of my post here are one-linders, gotta earn that place on the wall of shame.

Right. Just because we have young girl in an anime doesn't make her a loli. Only when they start pandering to "that" audience do I declare that character a loli. Oh and like some of said age doesn't mean much with al these bullshit excuses writes pull from their delirious asses to prevent total humiliation.

I agree. Speaking of twelve, I liked how he had two sides of his character that clearly belonged together. When he was serious, he was clearly a bit move devious, but didn't loose his light personality. He is a pretty fun character so far.

Actually freaked a little bit when he gave LIsa the Kuruuin toy as I just assumed we'd see her got blown up carrying it given how he acted.
That's the right kind of unpredictability, I says.

I keep wait and hoping for this to be as good as Battle Tendency and it's not happening. Watching the show is becoming a chore and I'm seriously considering dropping it for a while, especially given how long this is going to run for.

I don't have much to say that hasn't already been said, but this episodes lived up to the high praise that been lavished on it.

A tale of two halves here, representative of the highlighted character. This was one of my favorite parts of the 2000 OVA since Jotaro's straight man role gets to be played up again. Love that Joseph is essentially an eternal 10 year old in this ep too. :lol

This is exciting for me too as I'm pretty much in the dark for the rest of this cour, I think, since I never proceeded past this point in other versions save for 90s OVA stuff so lots of uncharted territory.

It took me a little bit to realize what this reminds me of, but I've got it pegged down. It's a less macabre version of KoreZom. The same chaotic humor and fantasy character types colliding into one place is there, only it's from the first episode. I want to support Yurika because she's a magical girl, but every one of them has their charms. Not a bad first episode, mostly chaotic as it has a lot of characters to introduce at once, but I'll see what happens once these characters start to let their chemistry build up so they can properly bounce off each other.

So a change from the mystery town to comedy in this ep, with that first part of Polnareff trolling by mistake the grandma.
Fight sucked,
even the creative solution (I will suck the fog!) was silly because he could just beat the crap out of her physically and win that way. It was a stupid stand. "Oh no you have controlled my arm! Wait, while my arm is controlled my Stand which is basically another being which can move with freedom will kill you." It's basically only good as support Stand (but she wasn't with another stand user) or against Stands user whose stand is something that is used with a hand, like a pistol. But most aren't like that.

The 1st minute and middle part sure is service for people who watched Ga-Rei Zero.

About episode 1,it's based on manga chapter 23 (though changed a lot),but from the episode 2 preview title,i guess we will back to manga chapter 1 so i guess don't expect crazy original plot like Ga-Rei Zero.

Of the three Tokyo shows - all of which Funi acquired, somehow - this is the one I'm throwing my chips on. Invaders was more culturally Japanese, while this, I can see why Funi picked it up. Starting in media res, this played out like so many American summer blockbusters. That it has a female protagonist is a point in its favor, though it took until the very end for her to show up. Nice way to make an entrance. It was easy enough to understand what was going on without context, though the next few episodes should help to fill in some of that. The cameo also reminded me to, yes, get around to Ga-Rei at some point.

I liked Invaders a little more, of today's shows, but this was an alright start.

No subtitled release anywhere yet. No idea why it hasn't been released over here, but I honestly think it will in the future.
