Dang, the wiki that has the translations doesn't have the nise books translated. I kinda want to read how it unfolds in the book.

yeah, its so weird. Was nisioisn just trolling with that whole arc?

Well Karen's arc was just a backdrop to introduce Kaiki and resolve Senjougahara's outstanding issues and trigger the major change in her character, and Tsukihi's arc was to introduce Yotsugi and to continue Ararararagi's always-ongoing character arc started in Kizu so it's not like there was no point to the whole thing.

The toothbrushing was 100% trolling though.

I always forget about the end of Nise because toothbrush. Always forget Ononoki and the other girl were introduced there and brings up more stuff about araragi's past.

I guess toothbrush is just too stronk overpowers everything else.

Clannad 17

Damn, this is incredibly dark. Damn damn damn.

...D'AWWW!

She calls him Akki!

"I gotta go pee."
Cut to plants being watered.
haha, lol

Transition into ED, kinda figured that out a while ago though.

This was a rather painful episode. Yes, I understand that he blames Ushio for Nagisa's death, but it's still harsh and it still hurts seeing Tomoya so bitter after getting to know him as this playful and cheerful guy.

I don't know which episode it was, so don't click the spoiler Link Man, but one of the parts that made me tear up was
when Ushio was looking for the toy Tomoya got for her, and she said why it was so important.

Can't believe it's been 5 years or so since I've seen Clannad lol

Time flies by

Monogatari Series s2 Episode 25

So in the beginning of the episode they mention the closet again. It'll probably end up being important. >_> Also, I lol'd at the fact that he
turned Nadeko into an alchoholic.
It looks like this episode has revealed Kaiki's secret past with Senjou. Although, it's not like you didn't see most of that coming. At the very end of the episode
it seems that the plan didn't work after all.
Seriously though, everyone kept saying that would happen. :\
Well looks like it's time for the final episode. Hopefully it's not as bad as i'm expecting.

worked out ok now I have a new manga to read :p

Frozen was okay.

Certainly not the best anything though.

I find wreck it ralph to be the better movie....
frozen would have been better had they
not shoehorned a villain in at the end... I mean heck you could change his motivation from being generic bad guy to thinking the only way to save her is to kill the sister, go to do that and due to the actions she no longer likes him thus asks him to leave and the movie could play out basically the same with no crappy villain :/ it would have been so much more enjoyable for me.

Nadeko is the worst

Man I don't feel bad for Nadeko at all. I'll withhold why since I guess you're not to the end yet, but by the end of that show all I felt was that little brat got less than she deserved.

It was the only possible way Disney could go as soon as it was obvious Anna and Kristof had the Han Solo/Leia chemistry going. Not going to get any actually difficult relationship choices in a Disney cartoon.

Disney obviously needs more harems and/or Shoujo-esque love polygons in their animated films.

Imagine how much better Lion King would be if Nala had to fight another lioness for Simba's affection while simultaneously trying to fight off the deep-seated attraction to Scar she developed as she grew up under his rule.

Ojamajo Doremi ♯ Movie
Not exactly a feature film, it's basically another episode in runtime and scope (they even play the standard op!), but it does indeed feel very movie-like. The really brisk pacing could be seen as a problem for the kind of story they wanted to tell, but I dig it. Igarashi's storyboard here is more unhindered, going for a more atmospheric feel and more precise editing; there's a greater variety of shots, including fairly complex ones you normally won't see done on TV.

The thing was also pretty damn sakuga, it really shows off the full potential of dem fabulous Umakoshi designs. I wish every episode was given as much time, budget and talent :p

I have a couple eps more to go through first, but the next point to look forward to is probably episode 40, featuring this same pair on director/AD seats. I've heard it's one of the best episodes in the whole of Doremi, so I'm going in with high expectations!

Now I won't be able to watch the Lion King without thinking about Scar/Nala NTR.

Monogatari Series s2 End

Oh goddamn that fucking ending! Such bullshit. First off,
Arararararararagi never gets to see Nadeko again? Why bring her back if we don't get to ever see her anymore?. It just kind of felt like the writer was saying "Oh hey you like Shinobu? Well here now they're gonna have to kill her. Oh you don't want her dead? Okay we'll bring her back. Oh btw you'll never see her again anyway." Fuck you, author!
And secondly
Kaiki dies? That's just another punch to the gut after the whole Nadeko thing. We finally got an awesome male character and then he gets a big part so you can kill him off like that? You could have given him some kind of epic death scene. Or at the very least don't let him get killed by some stupid kid that he doesn't even remember.
And the entire point of that was to reveal that
Ougi is evil
when we already knew that in the first place! Fuck whoever wrote this.

As for my overall impression with the show, this was much better than nisemonogatari but nowhere near as good as the first season. But unlike those two seasons, I had a much harder time finishing this one as evidenced by the fact that I quit twice before.I thought that there was going to be way more Shinobu than what I got too. It feels like finishing this show has made me become less of a person. I hate anime so much right now... So damn much...

Angelic Layer Ep. 17

The :SDBurton/faux yuri levels were off the charts in this episode. :| Misaki's mother deserves a medal for how awful she is. I can't believe this is being played straight.

This subplot has been so utterly stupid. Well all of the plots have been stupid but this one in particular is particularly stupid.

Not that I've read ahead in the novels, I really do wonder if Kaiki is dead. The whole thing is narrated from Kaiki, and he is deceitful and a liar after all. So sometimes I wonder if it's something that we should accept just by seeing or not.

Yeah, that's one important thing about the final scene. Notice that it doesn't end with Kaiki dying, just with him bleeding out. His death is left a bit ambiguous. Even if he did die though, as much as that would suck, it's fitting in a way. His life as a con artist finally caught up to him in a sense. I do hope he comes back though, to me he's by far the most interesting Monogatari character.

I'm going to go with it's just you o_O
as this cast

is nothing like this cast

the tv series is fine and the only thing that is on crunchy roll :p

something weird is happening in my head because I distinctly remember some older guy (blue hair) who specialises in exorcisms and a shrine maiden. Maybe I have watched a bit of ghost hunt 0_0

I'm more outraged at
never being able to see Nadeko again than that.
I mean
Kaiki's point of view was pretty damn good and all but the whole Nadeko situation makes me feel cheated.
It becomes doubly worse because of episode 20.
Having two of my favorite characters get ditched in one season is just too much. =(
But anyway, from my perspective
it looked like Kaiki was narrating the arc as he was bleeding out on the ground. Basically the arc is a summary of his demise.
Not sure I was interpreting that correctly though.

Re Hamatora 06

Well now that was quite the informative episode. Nice still acting like a know it all dick but the writers finally decided to make it bite him in the ass by
having Art and his gang kill Murasaki for trying to confront Art alone.

I liked Nadeko back in S1. I'm rather indifferent past that. Monogatari S2 definitely gave me mixed feelings on her lol

Edit: One of the things that annoyed me in Monogatari S2 was the fake teaser they had at the halfway point.
Was looking forward to Shinobu looking like that

Nadeko is definitely more likeable in Season 2.
She's such a batshit insane character in rhere.

Seeing the Man With a Mission wikipedia page, they invent a backstory on why they wear mask.

wikipedia said:
a back-story for why they wear wolf masks, which involves them being created as the "Ultimate Life Form" by Jimi Hendrix, who is described by the band as being the doctor of the guitar and master wolf biologist.

lol no. Nadeko was an awful character through and through. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. Her interactions were boring and like I said earlier, every time she said Koyomi-oniichan I wanted to punch my monitor.

The only good part about her was when she went berserk in her school.
