I'm not sure whether the OG->Sharp reset or this was worse. The first series had a great ending so Sharp began as a completely unwelcome continuation, but Motto!->Dokka~n! is infuriating in the opposite way; nothing 'bad' happened at the end of Motto! and continuity was established, so they had even less reason to pull all that shit, the most shark-jumpy thing out of all being of course
Hana-chan's convoluted addition to the witch cast
. I mean, at the end it doesn't really matter since Doremi season beginnings are all about jumping the shark only to bounce back and become great along the way, but man Toei really can't let me forget for a second that the show's primary objective was to sell characters and toys.
Otherwise, transformation stock is an improvement so far, but I've yet to see the spell-casting ones. I don't really care for Baba, but Hana could be fun. The ED is great, up there with Sharp's ED, although neither of them can even come close to the glory that is Naisho's.
I have to say I'm quite found of the Dokka~n transformation stock and spell-casting(
except for Hana-chan
), the build up and the sound effects are great, principally coming from Motto! stock footage. lol
I really like Watashi no tsubasa, it's the best ending song wise for me.
And if you have time, this is almost all the shit Toei was trying to sell.
Why so much Kanbaru exposition, sigh. Otherwise, pretty solid episodes, I really liked the theme. Some funny parts, like when they were in Araragi's room, and the

was good. When the ninth episode started, what Araragi said made me think that
Sengoku would die
, but in the end I guess he was talking about the
curses coming back to those who casted it, and that they would be the ones dying.
Sengoku was so cute, though, she might fight with Hanekawa for my best girl slot.
Yeah. I mean, Urubuchi worked on Saya no Uta and Shinbo did porn, and yet people don't question whatever they can direct or write (and when they do, it's not because they did porn).

Fairly perverted episode. Funny first half with Lemon and modelling and pantyshots. The second half was fairly good with Maya's fans stripping her and then chasing her rolling in a drum.
If you're talking about the boxes and background, the joke is that Nozaki doesn't do backgrounds because he doesn't seem to have a sense of perspective when drawing them, so he drew the background in awkward instances where the characters on the page looked weird in one way or another (one character was floating, in another instance one looked very small, or very big, etc) so he started to add boxes to make it seem like it made sense how they were standing. That was one of the major jokes.
The other one was simply the Prince misunderstanding her senpai's feelings and she thought he wanted to be a princess. Everything else was misunderstandings from her part.
Man, I laugh so much in this episode.. this is superior Hori x Kashima episode than eps 3, their VA is especially awesome in this ep, one of my favorite eps for sure.

I doubt it in a romantic fashion, it's more like she really cares about his opinion as a senpai and he only likes her as an actress and when she gets serious, so more of a respect from both of them. The only romantic relationship in this thing is Waka and his waifu. But then again, she does seem to care a lot about his opinion.
As to when he kicked the box, he was sleep deprived, and after all the shit of Nozaki making characters stand on boxes so the perspective would make sense he woke up only to see somebody standing on a box and since he hated it he attacked without thinking.

Akame Ga Kill - 08 - The Game of Thrones of anime. Holy cow, that was so sad/awesome. I wish the animation could've been great the entire way, but still a great episode. The past 3-4 have been tremendous.
Now I wish MadHouse was the studio handling this anime. Oh well. Keep it the eff up.

Well Sinon finally learned Kirito is a SAO survivor. It was annoying to see Kirito acting cutely. And did they really need that cut to show that he swam in the river naked. I'm just awaiting the Death Gun and Kirito fight so we can get this horrible arc over with
I wonder if at some point people stop thinking of it as flattery and start hating the other guy for essentially stealing their cuts.
Certainly there feels like some "grace period" before theft moves into loving homage, but even then, you probably should have a reason to basically copy another person's work beyond the fact that you personally happen to like it.
I like what this show is trying to do with these team matches and go into the thoughts of the whole team and not just Chihaya, though they need to get Kana and Desktumo to a decent level so they can do the same thing for them. I just think have some problems with the pacing of it. It spends a while focusing on Chihaya's thoughts and her opponent's attempts to intimidate her, and then it felt like all of a sudden we were in Porky's head focusing on his match. And then the same thing happened with Taichi.
This show has been dragging its feet with Arata gor a while now. Time for him to shit or get off the pot.
