Yes and no. I dislike Type-Moon's output because it's shit, but I am fond of Ufotable as a studio. This conundrum keeps me up at night.

Pretty good episode, I like it when they have to fight bigger monsters. For the rest it was just some good shounen, lot's of yelling and stuff, I liked it since I like Lenka.
Main girl is slowy growing on me, she has some great shots now and then, especially with the pills, what's up with that?
Hey, could anyone with experience of the game tell me how the combat works in that? Did it get changed it the anime? What about enemy types, can we expect more interesting monsters over the fodder that we have now.
Not really, It's more of the same, only a bit better.
There are some cool shots here and there but that's about it.
Edit: The episode on the plane was really fun though.

I appreciate that this battle wasn't just bang bang shoot shoot but more tactical. Each face off was build up through internal monologues, that also explain to the viewer how experienced participants in these matches usually acts.
I didn't like how one participant basically was defeated because it was "too slow" to pull the trigger, when the target is running towards you from a far distance. But the comedic payoff afterwards was funny, so I'll turn a blind eye this time.
There also was a lack of "bloodlust effects", but since the match isn't over yet I hope there'll be more next episode. Oh and thumbs up to the bass guitar used in the soundtrack

I started watching this again and it's still pretty damn good. It's best not to think too much about what's happening though and just go with the flow.
Whatever, it isn't important - silly witch antics with Doremi and her friends is what's important.

Surely Maho-Don could've either frozen time when she was deciding whether to marry Salvatore or gone back in time when she realised how much time had passed? I mean, Doremi and friends were able to do it with magical stage, which just boosts their magical power by two levels, so a high-level witch like Maho-Don should've easily been able to do it, right?

Yeah a combination of what I assume to be strong source material and a director who knows what he's doing really help. It speaks volumes that they can stretch a single volume out for the entire season and not make it boring or seem overly drawn out. It's just a shame the animation production is a mess and brings the overall package down.

Yeah. It also sucks that it's one of the worst selling of the season so far. Wish future novels would get animated.

Thanks god most KEY VNs have explicit content in them. That way, when someone gets caught playing them and asked him how could be playing such a thing, he'll just say: "Oh no, no. You're getting the wrong image! I'm just playing it for the porn not because I think it's any good, jez."
Rewrite and Planetarian also don't have sexual content, but yeah, Key has not had many issues with putting sex into its games.

Man... That OST is so dang good! Gives me goosebumps every time I hear Nagisa's Theme, The Girl's Fantasy, Snowfield and The Palm of a Tiny Hand. Some of the best! :,)

Not every day when you can say you've been both a god and a queen to a race of miniature Fairies. It feels pretty similar to episode 9 but it was still a fun watch. Helps that I got more Watashi/Fairy interactions.

I honestly can't imagine ever playing an H-version of a Key game. It's like F/SN or Tsukihime...everything I've heard about them says they're horribly written and laughable, borderline disturbing situations. Particularly in Kanon, Air, and Little Busters EX's cases, where they were literally thrown in for commercial reasons...which is disturbing in its own right.
I don't object to sexual content in anime or games; I do demand that if you're going to do it, do it because the story demands it, not part of some kind of checklist you fill out because it'll increase sales.

False dichotomy. If you can't perceive a middle ground between avoiding criticism of a work altogether and going out of your way to shame or ridicule people for enjoying a work in addition to criticism of the work, that's very unfortunate.
Ideally we implicitly assume good faith about the character of the people we exchange media criticisms with until we have reason to do otherwise. If you don't wish to put effort into crafting criticisms that discuss problematic elements in a piece of media without implying anything unsavory about people who enjoy that media, I guess there's always 4chan.

It's also really good, but I can't really imagine how it would look as an anime. I think you might have to do it omnibus style, probably over two full seasons. The various storylines are so incompatible with each other and it's not like they offer the chance at a natural reset.
No real point watching a poor imitation when you can have the real thing.
fake edit: the thing is, there's an important distinction between using analysis of tropes and narrative conventions to surmise the demographics that a work is designed to appeal to based on what previous similar works have been popular with what demographics and stating that anyone who likes a work necessarily likes it for the reasons that the work intends to be popular or that it's necessarily a grave character flaw to like it for the intended reasons.
People should really just avoid mixing criticism and personal language altogether unless a work crosses the line from something you think is just dumb or encourages a lifestyle that you don't agree with into clearly immoral territory anyway. Most good people like some dumb things, and everyone is predisposed to be more forgiving of this or that if it appeals to them for a reason that transcends their usual critical standards. Even if a certain percentage of fans fit a stereotype, who cares?
