Does the OVA cover more content? A bit weird, considering the ova are 6 episodes, and the new series is 25 or 26 episodes!!

Personally, I'd just recommend everyone watch Neko Sugar Girls on youtube instead of this. At least that has the excuse of being made in ms paint and and being a satire of key-kyoani anime (specifically air)

Yep, it was mainly build-up for part 3, but damn was it exciting buildup. Insane Mikado is best Mikado. Everything's in place now for some huge all-out chaos and I can't wait to see how that's going to unfold.
Izaya trolling Yodogiri Jinnai was also really amusing, but seeing him getting reverse trolled was even more so.
Anyway, the next season is going to be amazing.

Yuru Yuri Season 1&2 [END]
Caught up to this in preparation for the upcoming season, probably one of the funnier anime I've seen, the first season didn't really grasp me but I feel that this is something that happens in most comedy anime, after I got used to the characters I started to get really into it. Season 2 was great, those last two episodes were the best, that Snow White stageplay was so funny, I was laughing all the way through.
The music is also pretty good, ED 2 is probably one of my favorite outros ever.
Excited for the next season, although I've heard some troubling news from that.

Good finish to a series that frankly, underwhelmed me for the majority of its run. A very vague ending that gives very few many answers for the world it introduced but surprisingly enough, this doesn't bother me a whole lot with the setting being what it is.

In hindsight, a lot of the early material with an episode devote to every Haibane feels like a bit of waste of time as outside of maybe Kuu, none of these characters get to do anything. The show, being an from the early digital era, is also quite ugly. These upscales really aren't any good and I say this as a person who doesn't pay much attention to the image quality usually.

(which in my interpretation is the real world)

Since it's based on (still ongoing) books, there should be more than enough material to continue this. Especially since the current ending doesn't really feel like an ending at all.

It's written by the same author who did Legend of the Galactic Heroes. And yeah, he based that story on an persian epic, if I recall correctly.

I still haven't watched the second cour though. I am afraid to ask, is it worth it if I liked the first part? Not only did I thought the ending was good (I know that they retconed that part stupidly I might add) but the whole adventure and the battle between slaine and Inaho was something I looked forward to every week

No. I really liked part 1, but I though that 2 pretty much destroyed everything that was good about part 1. Some parts of S2 are funny for shits and giggles, but overall it's definitly worse than S1.
Lulz, I'm one of the few who were okay with S2 of Aldnoah. The first EP did have that ridiculous backtrack, but the finale of S1 was so stupid that I merely saw it as a continuation of said stupidity. It certainly wasn't as good as the first one, but I found enjoyment in Terminaho, Slaine the devious and whatnot.
For shits and giggles, S2 war awesome. Slaine, the "devious" who was unable to do anything and only did stupid things throughout the whole season. Inaho's eye, the best character in the show. Srsly, a friggin eye.

Aldnoah went to shit after season 2, yup. I actually liked season 1 a lot, so seeing them destroy everything made me pretty sad.
Gargantia was great.
Evangelion 1.0 was great. 2.0 was okay. 3.0 was... It was what it was.
I don't think I've watched any other mech stuff in the past few years.

There's a PV but I don't think that the art looks really great, i'd say it's actually uncanny, there's not a bunch of art so I don't know how the full end product will look.

Apparently it's also going to be a short instead of a full-fledged series, I wonder if that actually works for a horror show.
I'm definitely going to check it out though, it's a cool experiment which will be interesting either way.

Monochrome is a pretty decent show overall. Has some good laughs but also moments where the joke falls flat. I'll likely check out Season 2 at some point.
