The Legend of Erin 1-10#
This clearly takes place in Hyrule. You can't fool me.
Anyway, 10 episodes in, time to draw some conclusions.
To be honest, I wasn't a fan of the beginning. It kinda was boring. Not Hyouka boring, but more like "not particularly engaging" boring. I kinda understand the writer is basically going through all of Erin's life (I already know there are going to be multiple timeskip at one point) so it was kinda necessary to make more tranquil, slice of life episodes in contrast to the successive events.
Things picked up around episode 4-5 and then of course episode 7. I mean, it was obvious it was going to happen at one point
, but I didn't expect it until episode 11 or 12 or so. WHY DID THEY USE THE OPENING SONG FOR IT, BLOODY HELL.
The characters feel extremely one note so far. I liked Soyon, the duke (?) voiced by Ishida Akira is obv. evil and Erin kinda comes as that one child that has a better moral compass the 99% of the adults you see and it's super nice and pure, but maybe things will change when she'll grew up.

OVER 9999 DEATH FLAGS IN THE OP
