they announced the second half of the MHA season as one of them with a date of july 29th...

looking it up....

"My Hero Academia – Season 2 (Part 2)
Episode 28 dub starts 7/29! New SimulDub episodes, Saturdays @ 5:30AM ET"

we just got episode 27.

so there isn't a MHA dubbed episode for 16 more days :/

Man the older I get the more things I find when rewatching evangelion.

Misato is so fucked up the more you think about her actions.

Konbini Kareshi Ep 1 and 2

Weird how a stupid idea for a show leads to a really boring show that has little to actually do with the idea. Not going to try anymore.

The older I get the more I feel like I can really understand the characters in that universe.

I never understood the backlash to people complaining about Shinji for example simply because of his life experiences and circumstances.

I'd like to say it's because people were expecting to be able to project themselves onto Shinji, so when he didn't act out peoples' Power Fantasies the backlash ensued.

I saw that earlier as well. I'm bummed, but then again when they first announced the dub they only ever planned to release the first 6 episodes day of. The fact that they managed to make it to 14 is pretty impressive, especially considering all the logistical hoops they probably have to jump through.

Dude is a blank slate at the beginning if the series. His personality basically is created by the people around him and when those people are erased or compromised it makes Shinji hate himself because without those experiences he is nothing.

I liked Working!! and Barakamon they were both pretty good slice of life

Kids on the Slope is also fantastic, if you haven't seen it yet.

Most of the ones I'll list below double as a comedy. Silver Spoon is one of those shows that is extremely funny but also aim to teach. Regardless all of these are top notch.

Barakamon
Space Brothers
Great Teacher Onizuka (though it has a bit of ecchi it's still one of the greats)
Hyouka
Shirokuma Cafe
Usagi Drop (only watch the Anime for all that is holy)
Working (all three seasons)
Aishiteruze Baby

Speaking of silver spoon, I've been itching to get back into the Manga but with an anime with 3 seasons maybe I'll watch those and then jump back into the Manga.

Edit: huh must have read wrong. Description said it had 3 seasons apparently there's only 2? Maybe one was split Cour.

Shout out to black hair, red eyed gamblers.

I love seeing awful people being taken down a notch so this show is right up my alley.

Probably the last show I'm adding to my watch list. The Reflection might be good though.

Shows I'm definitely continuing to watch
Dive!!
Aho Girl
Kakegurui
Made in Abyss
Tsurezure Children
Aoyama-Kun
My Hero Academia

May drop
Touken Ranbu
Welcome to the Ballroom
Gamers!
Hitorijime My Hero

Yoshino and co already coming up with more ideas to increase promotion for town starting with wood carving. Some of them were silly but hey they trying to find a way they can combine traditional styles with what's modern. That puts them in conflict with Kazushi, what made this part interesting is he berates them for not knowing the ins and outs of wood carving and the type of wood. It wouldn't have hurt for them to ask a couple of questions about it or him offer some knowledge but just how much do they need to know to come up with promotion ideas. And this also showed how some in the town just isn't interested in changing. However, regardless of how Kazushi feels about his wood carving work, his rant on Sanae seemed overboard, girl barely said a paragraph to him and he assumed the whole story and now she shook.

Nah it's only two seasons, both are like 11 or 12 episodes a piece. Manga has been really good.

yeah, I was expecting it to happen at some point, but I was hoping it wouldn't.

especially since we are getting around the point where I stopped reading the manga because the first season was announced. meaning I will have to avoid reactions because they will be actual spoilers for me lol.

Kakegurui 02

20,000,000 yen for fingernails? I think Kaiji bet a finger for that much each. Kiddy shit.

I just hope every match doesn't involve cheating. Its already pushing past superhuman feats of brain power, but from the promo images I didn't expect it to ever hold back. Piercings girl seems like she will be a riot

Eureka Seven: AO 7

Poor Naru must be sick because she doesn't wear enough clothes, and she's definitely sick of Ao due to Truth being a more rad "sea colossus." So she jumps out of an airborne hover craft because memories... she didn't need fresh air, she needs a psychiatrist. This is at least more entertaining than encounters with G-Monsters and discrimination against foreigners.

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
Finished watching Reiketsu-Hen with TUSR.

I'm finally free of Kizu. Except I think I'll watch all 3 movies in a row some day. There will never be another film like these.

Maturity, bitches.
This season already feels better than last season for me.

But then again, I barely watched a thing last season.

I really want to watch all three Kizu movies back to back, ideally at a theatre screening. It just seems like way they should be viewed.

I saw the first one in a theatre, but unfortunately didn't get the opportunity to see the other 2 in a theatre. First one in theater was pretty sublime.

I would love to have seen them on the big screen, but we never get limited release movies here. But, I'm looking forward to watching all three for the first time when the last BD is released by AoA later this year.

Watched Bakemonogatari back then and yesterday I watched Kizumonogatari Part 1. I will watch Part 2 and 3 too, but are all the other sequel series worth it?

The problem is that you have to Nise, which isn't very good, but the series gets a lot better after that.
You can't skip Nise either, since it introduces several new characters.

Ballroom e Youkoso - Ep. 1
Really liked this one so far and I usually skip anything sports related.
I guess the fact that this anime has cute girls and pretty dresses helps a lot.

Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni - Ep. 1
We finally found it, the nexus of Isekai!
Now we only need to find a way to destroy it...

Fate/Apocrypha - Ep. 2
Still boring as fuck, characters are still bland, but at least this time you can tell what's going on during the action scene.
Not sure why I haven't dropped this show yet, but it shouldn't take much longer if this contunies.

I wish I weren't constantly puzzled while watching this show. I mostly understand what is going on, but often times, certain actions are given zero contexts until later on, and it leaves in a state of being halfway confused. In addition, certain cuts happen in such a way that it sort of confuses you in terms of what scene you think you are watching, and I have to shift gears in my brain to catch up. At least I appreciate the way they convey information with minimal amount of exposition, with so much of it conveyed visually.

These five episodes finally have Ichise be more than a one note dude whose solution to every problem is to punch them in the face. Not only do I get a better idea of who he is and why he was that way, I see him form actual connection with some people, however tenuous it might be. The prophecy says it's not going to last, which considering what I have seen of this show, it's going to pass. Speaking of the show being depressing, I don't think I have seen an inch of levity or moment of satisfaction given to the viewer so far.

I do have an aside regarding The Class. It was hilarious to me that the Class dude watching security of the alien square jagged wall was doing so by a mannequin of a headless pregnant woman instead of like a normal TV screen.

I still haven't found a single show really worth watching this season among CR's lineup... but hey, that means I can spend the time I'd have spent on seasonal shows on better things, like catching up on MHA!

So recently I sat and watched Assasination Classroom. I loved every second of it.

The ending. I knew it was coming, but fuck it hit me like a brick. I was watching with my step brother and we were both crying haha. What an amazing show <3

I started Nise 2 times already and always stopped at episode 3 or 4? Wasn't that interesting, but i will slug through it today.
