Since I couldn't wait for Fate/Stay Night: UBW to come back in summer, I decided to boot back the VN I dropped almost a year ago and try to finish the Fate route and I have a question for all those who've played it. Do the decisions you make impact the story in a big way? I know some of the dire decisions lead to a bad ending but I'm talking about the one that are like:
-Take Sakura home
-Play with Fuji-nee
-Rest
Does any of this matter? Is there an invisible counter that adds up in the end? Then there's decisions like:
-Protect Illya
-Entrust her to the church
Which 'could' end up as a big deal but it all leads to the same end right?

The combat in P2: IS is pretty easy half the time (I'm assuming you have to get gud and think later), but for right now I just put battle on auto and fuck dudes up without sustaining any huge damage.

It's worth using a guide, I had one. I can see it being really frustrating not knowing why you got the bad end and have to go fairly far back to fix it.
