Man that DLC blade Matt used is kinda cheap, you don't need to recharge it. Which tbh seems kind of useful with the how frustrating the charging seems in the PS3 version

Honestly, the DLC blade made the level go a hell of a lot smoother. Honestly, the levels themselves are kind of drag, but if it is going for a sort of Meta Narrative similar to Spec Ops the line but in a comedy way. (You are killing people, Travis barely has a reason to kill people,but he doesn't care similar to how most people view playing games)

Thinking about it, it was probably intentional that the town is so shit. The world in the first game pretty much revolves around Travis even to the way the city is structured. If you noticed only things that Travis is interested in get any sort of detail, anything else is just dull boring buildings with boring people.

I don't mind spoilers since there their LP of the second game spoiled quite a bit.
The game itself seems like a parody of games almost, Travis barely has a reason to kill these people outside of being number 1. Like us gamers play games to beat them and nothing more. If there is more to a game we continue until it ends. We really don't think about why as we hack or shoot our way though people.
Which I guess the Reason why doesn't matter...or maybe I'm looking too into this?

Or maybe we really are looking to deep into it, kind of like how so many of us finish a game long after we stopped having fun with it just for the sake of completing it. Bonus points if you finished the main game, but because of achievements or extras you keep playing even if you don't find the game all that fun.
