Depends on what kind of sword you're going for. Can go up to over 10k easily if you're looking to buy the genuine thing from a blacksmith. Can be less than 10 bucks if you're buying absolute trash.

Pretty amusing scene with Booster opening the last door with Mario hiding under it to find the plushie and not even see Mario standing right there. You avoid that entire fight, but its probably better that they did get in it to get more exp for Geno.

If you're just doing the critical path, should be between 20 to 30 hours. Getting most if not everything bumps it up to around 50.
