Everyone is forced to be a slave, not just women. Caesar's reasoning for not having women as soldiers is that he considers them more useful back home because they can have children, and are used as educators, if I remember correctly. He considers the soldiers to be expendable, and the women are not. This is portrayed poorly throughout the game, as you only learn this through some dialogue with specific people, as you only ever get to interact with their invading military. It would have been better if you actually got to visit Legion's homeland. Caesar also expressed desire to change the way things worked in the Legion after securing the Dam. He views the current state of the Legion as an unfortunate necessity to secure their survival until they have the Dam and are completely secured. In the Legion ending where Caesar's alive, it's shown that they start to calm the fuck down, just not completely, as their hasn't be enough time to completely change yet. This doesn't justify the Legion, and there's the possibility that Caesar's successor won't feel the same about change, I just believe that despite their many faults, the Legion has more potential than the NCR, which I believe is doomed to fail.

I'm not arguing who would last longer I'm arguing who is more blatantly evil. And the NCR is no where near as evil as the Legion.

Also they are completely against technology which is just a stupid primal fear that would probably kill them in the long run.

Ceasar's line about wanting to change smells of bullshit. From what i understand of him, he's a fairly charismatic guy and willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. I don't think lying would be beneath him.

It disappeared and all that was left was a log.

I don't either, I just figure that he's smart enough to realize that the Legion's current way of life isn't sustainable, and will want to calm down a bit. Signs point to this being true in the Legion ending where he lives, where they let the citizens of Vegas who don't oppose them live, instead of the usual Legion treatment. This isn't much, but it's a start. Fuck everything if Lanius is in charge, though. He makes the Legion way fucking worse in the ending where he takes over.

Part of me wants to and part of me hates SFIV. I'm torn.

They each play pretty differently. I can understand having reservations if you don't like SFIV, though.

I wonder, is this the first time a fighting game is getting a public beta? Oh and I'll pre-order if I have a PS4 by then.

On consoles possibly. Yagatarsu and Skullgirls both have betas, the Skullgirls one going to anyone who owns the game.

There was that faux-fighting game by Namco, I forget the name, that had a beta.

I dont think I will, i dunno doesnt look that cool too me.

That's too bad.

So what your saying is that the legion couldn't function without Ceaser. Sounds like a doomed civilization to me.

They wouldn't last either way anyway. As croten said earlier, they have a fear of tech, and that won't do them any favors. Beyond which, the slaves and oppressed people would inevitably revolt, cause when do they ever not? Neither the ncr or the legion have any real staying power and will both die a slow, painful death. Just one won't enslave people and literally crucify opposition. That's why independent or house are the only real ways to go.

It really depends on who his successor his. If it's Lanius, shit's fucked. If Caesar has time to raise a heir, that could work. Of course, we also have the courier in the Legion ending, and I wouldn't be surprised that after all they've done they could take over after Caesar. Wether that's good or not depends on your courier.

This video still cracks me up
It's still really good.

I'd just rather get my hands on it before I throw another $60 down. I love Third Strike though.

The only way the Legion would work is if they shifted from a dictatorship to a socialist democracy and divvied up all of their shared resources post Caesar. Otherwise, it'll collapse. I thought NCR was doomed from the beginning.

I remember going independent all the way to the bitter end.

Nah wait for awhile till guys i bought and the store unlocked so i thought everything downloaded but the training never did. Do i have wait even longer?

It's most likely still installing those modes or you need to play one arcade or something... I just had someone check their Core Fighters and they said all of it is unlocked for them.
