That's about right. And yeah, independent is the best imo. I love telling house to fuck himself because he's so certain I'll do what he says.

Isn't Ceaser an old man? He doesn't have much time left especially if he refuses technology. The most likely scenario is that Ceaser dies and either Lanius or someone like him takes over and ends up running them into the ground.

Independent or House are the only two right choices.

It's not a fear of tech per say, just over relying on it, like the old world. It's shown that the higher ups, the people who are considered worthy of it, are allowed tech. The slave thing will be a problem, and it really depends on how much they change after taking the dam. And we're in agreement with House and independent being the best ways to go, i'm debating Legion over NCR. In my opinion, as much as I love taking over for myself, I believe House presents the best hope for humanity.

IIRC wasn't machines and computers what led to the world becoming Fallout world in NV?

I don't entirely blame them for wanting to avoid using machines.

But like I told TechnicaUS, the only path to success in a world that dire is socialism.

Eh, the fact that you hated it at first just turned me off completely because if something I'm playing does not feel good after about 30 or 40 minutes I just drop it.

I agree that they are both shit I just think that the Legion is more evil, you can say what you want about them changing in the future but in the here and now the NCR aren't slavers and they don't crucify people.

Maybe. I only made the best self-interested choice, not because of my personal morality but rather the legality and morals of that Fallout world.

I just know that if I was put in that type of situation, going Merc for the most part is the best way to survive.

In a world without law and Order, I do not wish for other men to decide my law and order, even if it means having to fend for myself often.

He really is. But it's such a hard choice. Hope for humanity or telling that smug bastard to fuck off. That's been the hardest choice in any game I've played in years.

I think Caesar is in his 50's, so he's old, but not old enough where he can't take a child and teach him. And he doesn't refuse technology, he refuses overreliance of it. For example, he has an auto doc in his tent that he has to use at a point in the story, and I wouldn't be surprised if that someone like Vulpes is hurt he'd allow him to use it. The expendable grunts, however, wouldn't be allowed.

The tutorial for DOALR is actually pretty big. I just spent an hour on it and am only about half way through it. When I saw the ad for the Marie Rose bunny costume I thought it was a Shimakaze outfit because all I could see in it was the pose and the bunny ears.
