Oh wow, 100$ to kickstarter and like a year later they are FINALLY working on DLC characters that aren't garbage.

Yes, you did. It shouldn't be put on a pedestal, but there is a legitimate reason it's known as one of the best shows of its generation and has the most watched finale in television history. Though that last bit can't really be challenged with the state of TV viewership as it is
I tried watching it from time to time. It's alright, but not really my thing.

I think he still needs a voice, but I haven't been up to date.

They just finished the VO for him.

They should have made Robo-Parasoul instead. I would have put in more money for that.

They're still doing the Salty Parasoul voice, right?

Not sure about alternate voice packs, but they finished at least one of the alternate Announcer packs.

GET OUT.

But yeah, Beowulf is sick.

Are you calling Squigly and Big Band garbage? smh

Zombie, Lifebar covering robot, Mummies Alive, and Filia2

None of the above are: Annie, Umbrella, Beowulf, Marie, Minette, Feng, Robo Fortune or Republican Double,

Also thanks lab zero for just putting Squiggly and Big Band at the top of the character poll arbitrarily instead of being fair and putting those two into the actual voting process too.

I guess we can all just be thankful that garbage like Black Dahlia didn't win.

Oh okay. So you really don't have any legitimate reason to complain, you just want to troll.

Lab Zero worked on the characters in the order that was promised. If you had a problem with the priority, you shouldn't have backed it.

Squigs and Big Band werent in the character poll because those were the characters that they were working on when their funding was cut. There was more work and concepts on the character before the kickstarter was even a thing.

Annie of the Stars is still not a Skullgirls character in the year 20&15 and will still not be a character in Skullgirls until AFTER the american release of PSO2.

Everyone deserves to cry salty tears at this atrocity that Labzero has created.

Squiggly was, they did BB from the ground up after they finished Squigs. Like, literally posted concept art for his moveset on their blog.

Are you guys seriously talking about SAO still? Boy you sure do seem to love it.

Well, this is the SAO thread after all. It says it in the first post and everything.

Oh wow, 100$ to kickstarter and like a year later they are FINALLY working on DLC characters that aren't garbage.

I don't even skullgirls and what the fuck.

Also the name of Gintama episode 53 is "Stress Makes You Bald, but It's Stressful to Avoid Stress, so You End Up Stressed Out Anyway, so in the End There's Nothing You Can Do."

Jesus. I'm also a bit excited to see the Benizakura arc or whatever the name is since I think that happens soonish if I'm remembering what Vidula said correctly.

Annie's move set would probably be the most boring move set out of the cast of dlc characters. Which I think is one of the main reasons she didn't get picked.

Haha, yeah the Benizakura arc starts at about episode 58 I think.

Boring movesets is the failure of the game designer.
Annie was sol bad guy and when you compare it to the rest of the cast. Seriously, was a time traveler and he didn't win. But beowulf was brought out as a captain America with a hype meter, just the mere mention of that sounds more interesting then Annie. This just my opinion mind you, so you could find sol bad guy the highest shit, but many people have voted for the character they wanted deal with it.

I don't like playing Big Band at all, but damn is he one of the most well crafted/designed character's I might have ever seen in a fighting game ever.

Lab Zero is doing some seriously good work and the DLC characters are easily some of the best of the roster. Nothing about the game is garbage, but of course its your opinion.

All the DLC characters seem pretty damn good and interesting compared to any other fighter I've bothered with in recent times.

I don't like Big Band at all but even I can acknowledge that he's a pretty damn interesting character that works well.

Big Band is worth it for the victory quote "I must go now, my planet needs me."

Also his stage's theme (Under the Bridge) is fucking awesome.

So many dumb references and mechanics are dumped onto him but it works so damn well. I still think there's probably things people haven't completely discovered yet about Big Band.

Hey guys, how y'all doing ?

Finally a rewarding day at work. Though I didn't get to do much, I got rid of a problem that's been blocking me since monday.

I don't even know what kind of game PSO2 even is, but this is super hype. I'm scared to look more up about it because I don't want to get excited over something that's probably never coming to the west.

The way it plays is really fascinating, I would almost compare the combat to Kingdom Hearts in a way but it's not as floaty, it's clunkier than that, and it's not really slow or precise enough to be compared to Dark Souls but it's that sort of freedom in battle.
Basically you have hubs areas and quests/missions take you to instanced but pretty large linear areas to explore together, I guess it works a bit like Monster Hunter from what I've seen.

Didn't he just say he didn't want to know?

Well of course they're amazing designs? Skullgirls is literally the best western fighting game ever released and one of the highest tier japanese fighting games released ever? It is objectively better in design then scores of games. Doesn't mean that Annie and Umbrella aren't cuter then some big dumb robot or the generic-est Pharaoh lady that Alex Ahad clearly traced from a library textbook about Pharaohs.

Also Eliza has a systemic problem in that she's unnecessarily gross with her Persona, which is precisely the kind of thing we all voted to Strong-Friendzone-Route when we shunned Ileum. And then they put the dumb ripping a skeleton out of her flesh-housing into the game. Double is also part of the problem. They keep making characters that are actually kind of uncomfortable to play as. At least you can play as an alt colour fortune and get different blood colours and not feel like a total skeez.

Just play the english patch, they recently dropped the IP block and my money is really with Pat on that game.

I looked through most of the designs recently and I'm very happy with Big Band and Squigly.

It's a hunting game, but not really sort of really.

I also have no idea why they'd throw in Freedom Wars costumes of all things. Kuro and Toro also look like they have no idea what's going on.

Because they throw in all kinds of gear, the other week they were doing Type-moon Fate/Stay stuff.

And this is just me checking the emails I get from PSO2 very rarely, so who knows what other crazy stuff they put in.
