Ew, no. Reddit's UI is garbage.
Its mostly that they are clueless and they just throw everything at the wall and see what sticks, but never fully resolve to do anything, and under-ships everything.

I'm in an IRC room with 132 people right now, it never gets that hectic. All 132 people aren't chatting at the same time. It used to be a lot more people than that before we switched networks.
You really don't need either of those things. I've used IRC for nearly 15 years, it's always pretty easy to jump into conversations.
I remember I bought it months ago on 360 when everyone wanted to set up some games and then I find out they were all on PS3 and I was sad.

We could make a Skype group. I don't why we would because it serves the exact same purpose as the steam chat. Also, I use my full name on Skype and I don't if I'm ready to start calling you all by your real names.
BestGAF is alright, though there's this weird bunch of sadsacks into some odd stuff, I have not figured out how to beat it out of them yet.
But I guess it could be worse.

The appeal of the skype group is voice chat. I will always prefer talking to typing.

I honestly don't see why we'd need to with the Steam group. Not only does it have a chat room, but we're still able to make threads in it as well...
If we do a Skype group, I'm not really worried about my name. If some of you follow me on Twitter, you most likely already know about it. I'm pretty open on that thing...
Pssst don't let Mike in because we have the same name and it'd be weird.

Having a Mumble server would be better than a skype group. Especially if we're using it play games with each other.

Steam also has voice chat, as PG said.
Mumble is the best, but again, people had trouble figuring out IRC despite a detailed guide from me, Mumble would be just as bad.
