I actually think the whole Chaos Soul/Dark chips were really bad and I'm glad they made Crosses a permanent feature in in BN6. Bass Cross as awesome, and Crosses have the better thing of being permanent until you use beast soul.

SkullGirls was made for audience X. X happens to have crossover with W and Y, but X is still where they're trying to focus. If someone in Y complains that X isn't appealing to Y more, that seems selfish to me. It's not 100% for you, so complaining about how it's not for you when it isn't intended to be is just centered around getting what you want, which is selfish by definition.

You could say my desire to see at least for most fighting games to meet a bar of conservatism is the facist in me. But I say, so what?

But in this case, I'm already in there and it's turning my back on a great fighting game, and I don't want to do that. I remember Knightman being able to block damage without having any sort of meter. That's why I liked him better.

Geez man, don't get too caught up on Low Rank. I do key quests and rush to G to collect things.

Remember how I mentioned that I never owned a PS1? I also never grew up with the X series as a kid. I played the original very recently, and after beating it found it was lacking that classic Megaman bite that I've come to expect from any Megaman game.

X being kinda easy is the worst thing I can say about it. I recommend X3 if you want it harder, especially since X2 is meh. Also X4 onwards is dumb.

That's so weird, considering I love every megaman series except the Original. From X to Battle network, from Zero to ZX. I played and completed most outside the original.

The originals just seem too hard and feel lacking to play.

I love Megaman 9, and would argue that it's LOADS better than 2 and 3 combined.

I also played the fangame Megaman Unlimited, which I also enjoyed but goddamn is that game more unforgiving than any MM game ever originally made by Capcom.

I also played MMxSF, which, let's be honest here, has shit stage design compared to the rest of the official series. The bosses being as crazy as they are don't make up for it. And this is coming from someone who managed to get to, fight, and beat Akuma!

Yep, it's a shame. Speaking of the LL! vita game, a couple of days ago I was in a mall and I saw this game store that had a shit ton of imported games including the LL! vita game. It was pretty cool. Too bad they were closed.

I think we both overreacted a bit, so I'm willing to say we're cool if you are. (My parents were super restrictive for the first chunk of my life, and only eased up more recently. I played the fucking PC port of Sonic Heroes.)

I think a lot of my dislike for Skyrim comes from my love of deep, complex RPGs. (I'm the kind of guy who prefers 3.5e D&D to 4 and 5, if that means anything to you.) It probably isn't fair to call it objectively bad, especially considering I did put a fair amount of time into it. Personally, I prefer Red Dead as an open world, and Oblivion as an RPG.

Some of the plots really are terrible, though.

God, I actually gagged a bit at the idea of a Sonic Heroes port on PC. I'm so sorry.

I'm glad you eased up a bit on the objectively part at least. I don't like seeing people toss that word around like the word literally for some people. Where you're coming from makes total sense as well as Red Dead feels more like a world instead of a sand box for you to become the ultimate sword wielding magic man in. Oblivion also has way more depth and even Morrowind before it has even crazier depth as far as RPGs go. I think Oblivion isn't that deep of an RPG compared to other games, but whatever you like is what you like. I also can't speak for the plots much as I barely remember a lot of the games plot.

I've watched 9 episodes of KanColle and I still don't know what the story is. I may have missed it at the beginning and I have no knowledge outside of the anime.
Does the Web browser game have a story as well?
What are they fighting for?
What are the abyssals? (My first impression was a femalized octopus/barnacle)
There only seems to be one type of abyssal going with what they've shown already. They also seem like they are incapable of speech.
Is there any sort of reason for the fleet to be ship girls or are we supposed to just roll with it? (Either is fine to me)
Do the ship girls have actual personalities in the game or are they just card illustrations with nothing to it then that?
Are there more ship girls around the world?
Actually are there even normal people in this world?

I know so of these questions aren't meant to be answered but I'm still curious.

There's no story. Some backstory, but that's about it. The ship girls have some personality, since they are voiced and have some dialogue in special scenes. There are more ship girls, there are normal people, technically the ship girls are normal people with special abilities and "souls" of ships inside them or something like that. There are other abyssal ships. The admiral is a normal person.

Hard to judge without having tried it for yourself, but I know I actually don't mind either handheld. I just hold them really differently. Despite the shitty pixel density, I prefer the larger screen but YMMV really.

The closest thing I've experienced is BN3's Style system, which I really enjoyed until I realized how much fucking grinding you needed to do to change styles. Also not a fan of random elemental properties with each style. I consider myself blessed to roll Aqua not just in BN3 but in BN2 as well. It fits me the best anyways.

Chaos-Soul makes my dick rock-hard with how hard it smashes through the game and how there's a risk of you fucking up and eating shit (but not permanently).

I never cared for using Dark Chips raw.

Damn frank west plays like shit in this game.

It helped reconfirm his hatred for Star Notes as far as I know. He probably thinks it's an okay game already despite it having a lot of repeat songs from older games. It's still a good game if you want to get into it.

Why do you feel the need to even use the gadgets? The game is easy enough without them. The only reason to ever do it is for context specific things or to keep a combo going which never matters.

In a Bayonetta I have a stinger. In an Arkham game I have a point stick at guy and press X to slide over to punch him.

Ok this answers a few questions. So its just a basic good vs bad type thing. Now all that's left are the abyssals. They don't look man-made, instead they look like something 2 giant rocks would give birth to. It doesn't look like there's a master mind controlling them from behind like the admiral either.

It's a web based cardgame with cute ship girls, so meh. They just leave out a lot of unimportant things because they don't need it. I remember the abyssals being ships that just appeared out of no where.
