So, random thing;
I booted up Street Fighter 4, for the first time since I 'got gud' at fighters and, gotta say, Zangief fits like a damn glove. My old mains just feel strange now [Ibuki with her fake command grabs, yuck].
Too bad it's shit netcode keeps me from playing online tho..

I'm not proud of it, but I used to tool around with rushdowns before....

I go for the boss characters first since i like bad guys when i pick up a fighter also if there is a bruce lee character too but i always end up with the grappler.
I like charge characters too.

Originally, I used to just pick the character I thought was the coolest. Now it's straight grapplers. I need that fuckin kick ass gameplan all grapplers seem to have.
I feel like it would take a ton of effort on my part to learn another type, but I would like to try it sometime.
The other way around for me. You could pick a fireball character and just play normall or a zoner and try to keep people out but for me to use a grappler you need to be able to pressure your opponent and always keep moving forward to grab them and if they are alittle competant and you picked a grappler in a new fighter you will never catch them.
I can only play a grappler after i know the game better with the movement and different character distances otherwise i wont get the opportunity to go in and grab em effectively.

Really? I just grab a grappler, figure out his grab, and a decent offense strategy. And then my whole thing is just beat them until you force them to block, then grab their ass.
I actually think grappler players have a major advantage in low level play.
Low level is fun since no one knows how to stop you. Im talkning about when they are not complete scrubs.

I wish I could get better internet so I wouldn't have to hear his lag johns every time I win.
Anyways, on point. What I'm thinking, is a grapple does as much damage as a decent combo, and in some ways grapples are more versatile than combos. I guess I've always found that greatly offsets the movement limitations.
Especially in the early game. So, I usually feel overpowered right off the bat with a grappler.
I'm hella tired and it's only 5pm.
Though I did wake up at 4am and I don't have any assignments or speeches.

I'm not sure which of us were being serious, but I had way more fun with the game than I expected to, aside from the first 30 minutes which is literally the worst opening to a game I've ever seen that made me immediately quit playing the first time.
It did have a pretty slow opening, but I still like the game more than uncharted 1 and 3

It's not that it's slow, it's that it's terrible torture porn to attempt to make you feel bad for Lara and QTEs for 30 minutes followed up with dumb cinematics that are boring as hell.
In spite of my intense hatred for the opening, I do actually really really like that game.
I never played Uncharted besides 1.

Playing Xenoverse, I really appreciate how the story of it ended up actually explaining the second Bardock movie
And how he ended up in another timeline that eventually circled around to being the story of the original Super Saiyan that Vegeta was told as a child while also being the reason that Frieza's family inherently feared Saiyan potential. As obviously unplanned as all of that is, I thought it was honestly a cool idea to spin the lore in that direction since I had wondered who that first Super Saiyan was and why we were never given any information about him, and the idea of Bardock/Goku's particular family line being the first of the Super Saiyans makes sense to me as to why Goku was more or less a prodigy.

On another note, how are you all enjoying Type-0 for those that bought it? I'm personally loving the game myself but I absolutely cannot stand the camera. Damn near made me sick from playing the first for hours but thankfully I've since gotten used to it.
