Beloved and I made it through like the first part of Season 2 and stopped, it was too much, everyone in that movie acts so fucking weird and hilarious, Deadly Premonitions awkward Dialogue nailed it so well it's a bit scary.

So I just tried out that Rinkou No Lantse game that jack linked to earlier in the thread. First two missions in and boy am I surprised at how well it works for a 3DS game.
People look at it and think Zone of the Enders, but the switching between plane and battle mode immediately brings Omega Boost to mind. And if you people never played Omega Boost, fucking play it. It's the one non car game made by Polyphony Digital and it kicks ass.
You don't have controls in battle mode to change your elevation like in ZOE, which is where the plane mode comes in. Controlling the plane is very fast and tight, and is meant to cover ground a lot faster, while battle mode is for better avoiding missile lock ons. Plus there are some moves transition the player from plane to battle mode which is nice.
Again, I'm impressed with this being a 3DS game, as the technical performance is fantastic (60 FPS both with 3D and without), but also it plays well within the limits of the 3DS's controls.
