I understand how important it is for the franchise and 3D games and etc. etc.

The game is still garbage though. Mario64 holds up a lot better in its own franchise even though it's not the best 3D Mario.

MM is way overrated, but it's still the best 3d Zelda.

I don't have a high opinion on Zelda. I enjoyed the 2d ones enough to beat one of them (LTTP) and I don't care about the 3d games.

Nah, Zelda 2 wasn't great, but I wouldn't call it garbage. Only Zelda games I thought were garbage, besides the obvious CD-I ones, are the 2 DS games.

They're very different game series really, imo. Despite visual similarities and dungeons and items, the player experience is pretty different.
