I understand how important it is for the franchise and 3D games and etc. etc.
The game is still garbage though. Mario64 holds up a lot better in its own franchise even though it's not the best 3D Mario.

All of the 2D Zelda games I've played (aLttP, aLBW, Minish Cap, and Link's awakening) I've enjoyed. Not sure why the 3D ones don't click with me.

MM is way overrated, but it's still the best 3d Zelda.
I don't have a high opinion on Zelda. I enjoyed the 2d ones enough to beat one of them (LTTP) and I don't care about the 3d games.

Nah, Zelda 2 wasn't great, but I wouldn't call it garbage. Only Zelda games I thought were garbage, besides the obvious CD-I ones, are the 2 DS games.
