people love these guys, they're just a bunch of bitter assholes.
well you do have to feel for earl because when you take PEDs and then get tested for HGH the week of the superbowl you can only hope the masking agents do their job. just more undue stress for earl!
any audio for this or timestamp when its mentioned during the podcast? lol
I must say, I am not really that surprised. Your talking about a team (not all of them, I like Wilson a lot) who are total douches. Grabbing their junk or shitting a football after a touchdown. Or better yet starting a brawl at the end of the Super Bowl with 20 seconds left. Irvin being the first player ever ejected from a Super Bowl. What a bunch of punks.
Could you IMAGINE the uproar if it were any Patriot players who did that?
Butler had so many good plays on that drive.
I'm not sure if it's because I'm high, but Vereen really reminds me of Kevin Faulk. That one handed catch to start the drive was insane, and he made that look easy. So damn clutch. Brady looked like old Brady on the last two drives. Stood tall, and delivered strikes. I think those two drives were the best of his career. Just insane how good he was.
Replay made my day better.
I've never watched a second of the last 2 SB's on purpose. This one's not leaving my DVR for a while.
And Bill canceled the final walk thru so the guys wouldn't overthink everything. It all just came together.Butler was so sick on that interception. Can't believe how fast he moves. You can see on some replays he was moving before the WR started his break. All this talk about bad calls hides what an amazing play that was. Not sure if any of the other Pats players have the ball skills to make that one.
The crazy thing hearing about the play after the game was how they had practiced that play and Bulter was burned, and right before the play Browner reminds Butler that he got burned in practice on the same play. The awareness/preparation before that play is insane. I think I read in an analysis of the play the Seahawks only ran that play three times all season. Just so amazing.
Going to watch/listen to it while watering plants and doing dishes.
I wonder if the radio broadcast of it is available anywhere. Would be fun to share with some friends overseas.

These reactions are so funny. I feel for the Seahawks even though I'm a Pats fan. It's an awful way to lose a game (great way to win a game), but I can't help but laugh watching the reactions. I don't know what it is, but I lose it for a moment watching them. The more I watch them the funnier they get, too.
iTunes link to the whole game?I've already bought it on iTunes. I think I'm going to be re-watching this one a lot.

Edelmans a beast. While getting crunched by three seahawks he's laughing saying I love getting hit. That dude is a monster.
He was probably too concussed to say what he really meant.

He won't be saying that when he is 50, I can guarantee you that
How is gronkowski not a cartoon character? He is the goofiest looking guy in the NFL.
I wonder if Welkah is kicking himself right now.
Just finished watching it without all the stress and heart pounding. Wow I don't like that Seattle team. Wilson is great though.
I'm not sure why the replay wasn't full widescreen. Weird.
I liked Welker, but when you drop balls in potential game winning SB drives...
Come on son
And Butler is the Samuel we deserved. Holds onto his picks in crucial moments.
I ran across this amusing bit in a Belichick documentary I started watching the other night:

Very relevant to the Welker/Edelman discussion. Belichick was a prophet.
As good as Welker was, Edelman turned out to be an upgrade.
I also love his goofy Smoothie ads on youtube.
Will there be a place to watch the parade online after work?

Well depends when you get off work. It'll be covered live locally, I'm sure, as well as recapped. I'm not sure if they are doing speeches/a rally at City Hall Plaza this time though. I hope so.
No rally at Gov't Center this year. Called off due to the snow issues yesterday, presents a safety hazard. So they're just going to have a rolling rally.
I was at the rally in 2002 after the first Super Bowl. Skipped school that day and rode the green line in. Haven't gone to one since and, well, I'm sitting at my desk right now so I won't be at this one either.
