am i the only one confused as to why this game is being released now instead of Q4? Is nintendo that confident Zelda Wii will be able for Q4? Even then, I think SMG2 would be a bigger sell

I surmise Nintendo wanted to release it in May, the slowest time period for sales, to try to keep the momentum of Wii sales going so they won't be compelled to drop the Wii price like they did last year. And yeah, I think Zelda Wii will be released this holiday and some other surprises.

New Super Mario Bros (DS) was released in May... The slowest period for sales is more actually july/august. There is always some good releases in May.

The director for this game, Hayashida has only ever directed one other game, Joy Mecha Fight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tu6PdXp6fo). Pretty cool to see a new guy step up to the plate.

Level 1-1 from SMB is a given (it even was in NSMBW).
Someplace from SMB2, maybe some level from SMB2 USA.
An airship level (or was that the World 4 level) from SMB3.
Mondo from SMW. It makes sense considering we have balloon Yoshi in this game.
Whomp's Fortress, obviously, from SM64.
Maybe include Luigi's Mansion!
It would be cool if they included level 8-7 from NSMBW, too.
