lol that analogy. That aside, it looks like the top rubber part came off and it didn't actually break. I'm not sure, but I think you can still use it as it is and just pop the rubber part back on and it's good as new.
Villager's Fair and Bair (Slingshot), dash attack (flower pot) and Side Smash (Bowling Ball) are considered projectiles.
Megaman's jab, side tilt and Nair (uncharged shots), Side Smash (Mega Buster), Dair and Uair are considered projectiles.
All attacks listed above can be pocketed, reflected by Mario's Side Special ou blocked by Link's shield.
Villager's Dair have meteor effect (only if you get three turnips)
The random doesn't choose the same character twice for the same match. (A 4P FFA with 4 randoms always chooses 4 different characters for the match, to avoid two players using the same character)
The CSS KO count is not capped at 255
AT capsules and Pokeballs/Masterballs cannot be pocketed.
Legendary pokemon can come out from regular pokeballs
Arceus voice is WEIRD
The Fire Bar only shrink if you hit something with it. Nothing will happen if you miss.
Also, the Fire Bar keeps its full power regardless of its size.
The Gust Bellows can blow other items away very fast.
The Boss Galaga changes color if you hit it before picking it up. I think it becomes faster if you do so.
Daybreak pieces and the Smash Ball can be on screen at same time.

That analogy is supposed to be ignorant, just as the ignorant people who only blame the people who have had the circle pads come off and call them monkey, without taking into account that materials can be different in different production run, also the different circumstances, like the climate, say if I live in a drier/hotter/colder area, the plastic and adhesive are prone to break down faster.
These people only see one factor and start calling people monkey and blame them for not playing the game correctly, how self-righteous can they be? they are just living in their tiny world and can't wait to judge people for something not necessarily their faults.
Like I said "Soft plastic is prone to break in pieces; adhesive used to attach the pad might be less sticky after a while, also the spring inside the unit is really delicate."
If it's becoming an issue, Nintendo needs to look into the problem and get it fixed.
The point is that unless your 3DS has some sort of preexisting problem (which would arise no matter what game you're playing), Smash 3DS won't harm your circle pad unless you're using it in a way which it isn't meant to be used, such as smashing it way too hard for attacks like a maniac.

"Lucas used to be weak-willed, and cry all the time. However, he overcame unimaginable hardships, and must surely be out adventuring somewhere right now. Or perhaps, he's found a partner and made a family of his own... No, no, that feels too soon. To fans of the MOTHER series, both Lucas and Ness might be young boys for all eternity."
I was going to try it w/ captain falcon later. Falcon knee destroyed master core at 7. I presume w/ better dodging, 9.0 shouldn't be too bad. Do a falcon punch while they're changing forms and are vulnerable, then falcon knees the rest of the time.

The Crash Bomber explosions are also considered projectiles to Link's shield. No joke. Once he has it on him, just stand there idling until it explodes and he'll take 1 % damage and block all the explosions.

materials used in certain production run.
I've been playing the demo and showing my friends and they all love it. I can't believe this game is on a handheld and looks SO good!! It's a nice balance between Melee and Brawl and landing any type of hit feels satisfying to the max. I can't play it and not smile.
Mega Man might just be one of my new mains. I absolutely love how he plays.
Made a list of presumed trophies I've yet to see from this game.
Assist Trophy
Including these (assuming they are actually trophies), that would be a grand total of 613 trophies so about 55 left unaccounted for. Here's my list if you want to double check
Darn, I'm getting all hopeful that he's playable DLC, Wii U transfer, or something now. I want him playable so bad.
It would be sad if Golden Sun really got shafted completely. They had Dark Dawn at E3 and everything. Series isn't as popular as in the GBA days, but it's no where near as niche as some of these other series popping up in Smash 3DS.

Best of luck to you! Admittedly, I just haven't learned the patterns of the additional giant humanshape form. There's also one attack the sword form does that I just can't dodge no matter what I do: the sword flurry and subsequent mega slash. (It doesn't help that I'm doing it as Little Mac, who can't recover once Master Core blows him away.)
Well, there are fewer bosses/forms in this one, so it is in theory much easier. Likewise, I managed to clear Boss Run on Intense back in the day, so this one must be doable!

Yeah, you just gotta keep practicing that one. If you dodge the 4, you can just block the 5th, if it's too hard to dodge. Or, conversely, block the 4, then run away for the 5th.

After playing lots of Megaman, I can see where the concern is coming from. Using him feels really different due to how his tilt woks. Pretty difficult learning curve indeed. And his projectiles are easy to evade. But His smash and aerials are really strong. Really needs to practice more with him.

The Mega Upper is pretty tricky thanks to the 3DS pad but once you get it you're sitting pretty since it's easily his best kill move. Hard Knuckle (the down air) is also pretty tricky and really easy to punish since it gives you glue feet lag if you whiff it, but hitting with it is SO satisfying.
