Boss Doggie
all my loli wolf companions are so moe
Please tell me there's a "reset stats/records" for versus stuff. I don't want to ruin my stats because of unlocking characters quickly in VS mode
I love smash but 100 hour steam is insane lolZero is doing another 100 hour marathon stream of Smash 4: www.twitch.tv/zero

Gotta scoop up the viewership while there's no competition. Also, while people are still eagerly waiting on the game, but can't just go play it themselves.100 hours? Save it for the US release, come on...

That and he plans to keep on streaming a lot even after the US version comes out anyways so there's no real harm.Gotta scoop up the viewership while there's no competition. Also, while people are still eagerly waiting on the game, but can't just go play it themselves.

At least he's not doing the "if I get x subscribers I'll extend the marathon for an hour" thing, is he?
because I remember this one MK8 stream that went to like 600+ hours, then they never streamed anything again apparently lmao
Dunno, when I checked last week he was trying pretty hard to drive subs. I think he was doing playing whatever characters subs requested, and did a really dumb dance party thing at like 100 subs or so. I remember him saying he'd play a set with M2K or make an early tier list if he hit 200 subs.At least he's not doing the "if I get x subscribers I'll extend the marathon for an hour" thing, is he?

Well he plays Smash for a living so...100 hour marathon? Get a job!
lol that's his gimmick. Don't feel bad about him being a jerk.Leffen is so mean. He beat me then badmouthed me while playing while I was watching his stream lol. Back to watching Zero for me.
PotD maybe?Anything I missed for the past seven hours?
I don't like Zero's stream to be honest.
Doesn't interact much, barely speaks, just go on doing his thing and too much useless bloat on the screen for my taste. And when he plays, he plays with his head down so the webcam is 100 % useless as well.
Like he's not even trying. It's literally a "Hehe I have Smash early and I'm good so give me money, pce".
What a heel.Leffen is so mean. He beat me then badmouthed me while playing while I was watching his stream lol. Back to watching Zero for me.
Sometimes the crowd chants for characters that aren't in the game. It makes sense that they have a greater affinity for the dead.
Also even if infinite combos get found out making someone broken we already know they'll get patched out in no time!
This is great, I'm happy Nintendo is already working to get those patches out ASAP. I wonder though, what is the mechanism for reporting these bugs? Is it through NoJ's call center or club nintendo?
100 hour marathon? Get a job!
I often wonder if these guys think about their future and plan. Smash won't be around forever.

Melee (and hopefully Smash and Nintendo) will probably outlast all of us.No, but Melee will. /s
Most of the people making money from tournaments are probably smart enough that they can switch games later if they need to. Same for the people making money off of streaming games or making videos of games. Even if it's not much money, it's still probably nice to make a living doing something you enjoy so much. Still, I'd end up wanting something more stable eventually.I often wonder if these guys think about their future and plan. Smash won't be around forever.
It's not the best way to make a living. If he can make his money streaming then more power to him.

Why? He's doing what he loves and he's making money from it.
Look at pewdipie. He's a millionaire now x_x

So, after trying my friend's japanese import of the game, I still can't stand the 3DS controls. I messed around with button layouts, but at the end of the day, even on the XL, it just feels really cramped and restrictive. I'm sure many will find no problem, and others will just adapt, but I personally have to pass on it. It hurts even more because the game itself feels amazing and the characters are so satisfying. It's like being given an awesome, souped up sports car but you can only control it with typewriter.
Also, the tiny screen, while not game breaking, just lessens the experience. If you absolutely want smash on the go, it's good for that. But if you don't mind waiting for the Wii U version, I'd say just wait it out.
Could have gone a lot worse. In the grim, post-apocalyptic future, humanity's biomechanical weta overlords will allocate the remainder of our dwindling resources based solely on the results of biannual Melee tournaments.
Sorry to hear it, man. I don't mind the feel of the 3ds toomuch, but I definitely can see it getting uncomfortable on long play sessions. I ordered a grip for my 3DS though, so I'm hoping it'll help. That should be coming in today, so we'll see if it makes much of a difference. So, after trying my friend's japanese import of the game, I still can't stand the 3DS controls. Can you still wait if it's delayed to 2015?

Yes.
It's not entirely that it's uncomfortable, it's just that it doesn't feel very good. It's not broken or unplayable. For the system it's on, it's completely serviceable and it works. My point is more that, if you don't mind waiting and you don't need mobile smash, you are totally better off waiting. For everything other than being able to take it anywhere you want, 3DS will be the inferior version.

so uh
has anyone posted that evidently you can't control the rate of items spawning on 3DS other than turning them On/Off?
Did we know this already? I just found out on Reddit. Kind of lame. My friends and I like to play with items on Low from time to time. :/
I'm similar. Even if the Wii U version was out first, there will never be a (physical) (Nintendo-made) Smash game that I don't own (within my lifetime). Though I definitely consider one version inferior, just based on my own preferences.I'm getting both since I love smash but I don't find any version to be inferior.
Oh yeah, I'd probably agree with that. I'm getting it because having Smash on the go in really appealing, but yeah, Wii U is the main attraction for me. God, with how good this feels on a 3DS, having a gamecube controller is going to be euphoria.t's not entirely that it's uncomfortable, it's just that it doesn't feel very good. I'm pretty sure the wii u version will allow rate switching at least since they did as much in the e3 invitationalso uh

And in the end the only DLC Smash got was more items.Interesting that the item switch also has an empty space. No arrows were datamined for it?
Yeah if that's your preference that's fine and I understand. But some people post it's inferior like its a fact.I'm similar.
