You guys think toad has any chance? He has his own game now. I'd main.

I'm a huge Toad fan and I was pulling for him... but nope.

Also Mii Fighters being banned from online is a load of shit given all the work that went into those characters. WHY

Figures will learn their opponents tactics and adjust over time. Woooo.

The Smash Invitational was all an elaborate ploy by Sakurai to study the thought patterns of pro Smashers, so he could develop the perfect AI in a twisted Strangelove Peace Walker Mammal Pod scenario.

so wait, you can't play as your amiibo? I figured they'd be used so you can have your custom moveset/loadout ready when you go to a friend's house. Having them only be CPUs seems kind of.... eh.

If Shulk actually gets in, I will sit down and completely restart and finish Xenoblade Chronicles. (Even though I didn't enjoy it the first time) Period.

Makes no sense to prevent Mii characters just because of this. They could just use default Mii characters for online play.

You could make some pretty foul miis. You can also make hitler miis or something.

I'm sure someone will think of a way to make a character be inappropriate in a situation.

Michael "TYP" Cole: FO stands for Figure Player. Users do not control them.
7:33
Neal Ronaghan: figurines show up as FP (figure player) and are computer controlled. they can level up to 50. will learn your tendencies. better than level 9 cpus
7:34
Michael "TYP" Cole: Figures will learntheir opponents tactics and adjust over time. They can also use items.
7:34
Neal Ronaghan: FP are basically better computer players. can also be used as tag team players in matches
7:35
Neal Ronaghan: Sakurai says you don't have to get every single figure but he will
7:35
Michael "TYP" Cole: Sakurai wants players to think of figures as their partners in battle. Sakurai says you don't need to collect them all. But he will.

Neal Ronaghan: Showing off Smash Run

7:37
Neal Ronaghan: Just saying, both versions of the game look and play great. This looks to be worth the wait everyone

Michael "TYP" Cole: You pick up powers that you can use in battle via the touch screen.

Man, could they push Smash Run any harder?

We get it. It looks neat. I loved Kirby's Air Ride. Move on.

Heck, did you notice the menu screen? Classic Smash or Smash Run. Big yawn for me, but I guess some people somewhere are excited about it. poor treehouse guy, being sent out to repeat old information and act like it was new.

Like I said, none of that is an issue if you have default Mii characters for online play.
