you games have a stylish menu design. What is your philosophy on menu design?

SERIOUSLY? What is this? Who asks this? It's a Sakurai game, it's going to be polished!

I swear.

Oh, gee, right, how could I have forgotten that Nintendo is doing an infinite job. Oh, my bad, TWO TIMES infinity! Clearly they are being totally serious about why the two versions are coming out apart, and there are not other possible reasons why the Wii U version has a holiday release date while the 3DS version is coming in October. Because infinity.

Whining about the game taking a long time to come out is being impatient. You really want a worse and unfinished game now as opposed to a polished product?

Someone there has to ask this. Especially if he already plans on doing DLC.

There's a lot that needs to be addressed

-If Nintendo is aware of the netcode issues with Brawl and if there are any plans to improve it
-If balance patches will come post-release
-If gametype settings for matchmaking will be tweaked post-release according to fan response (For Glory Battlefield/Stock)

Well I work in software QA (not gaming) and to me their debugging justification makes perfect sense comparing Smash to a Tekken fighter.

Michael "TYP" Cole: A: In famitsu magazine he has written a whole page on that topic. The important items have to be big--words or icon, but eadily understood.

Neal Ronaghan: Sakurai loves menus. he writes a column for Famitsu and wrote all about it already there. He makes the important menu items big. doesn't need to be words but need to be easily understood.

Michael "TYP" Cole: He says to read his article.

Namco can release a fighting game on multiple consoles at once, but Namco and Nintendo have trouble doing qa on a release for the Wii U and 3ds at the same time?

Are you joking? Do you remember some of Tekken Tag Tournament 2's glitches at release?

The game would sometimes just abruptly stop and resume five seconds later!

You're a journalist, at an exclusive press event for a highly anticipated video game and you ask about menu design. The hell?

I'm a UX engineer, and I wouldn't even ask that kind of question at an event like this.

Sakurai have you a reason, now stop complaining, and be glad they're not rushing the game. Jesus.
