Final question!
WHERE'S GOKU?
He's called Bowser and he was announced during the tournament.
Final question!
WHERE'S GOKU?
A communication error has occurred
I hope that doesn't translate into "We had a reserved slot for a Pokemon because we cut Jigglypuff."We had a slot for a new Pokemon reserved, but did not way for X and Y. We decided to use Greninja well before X/Y came out, based on early reference drawings.
Hmm... very interesting. Still holding out for at least Dixie Kong as a later addition.I think that may explain why the Greninja leak was worded the way it was.
Calm down, it means no more newcomers from Pokémon. They wouldn't cut one of the Original 12.NOOO NOOOO NOOOOO
I need my Jigglypuff!
If you happen to, would you be so gracious as to discuss U.S. internet infrastructure issues with him? It's the only thing that can really stop this game from being incredible. Not great questions. Wish I had another one-on-one w/ Sakurai.
Mentioning WiFi over wired, huh."Its tough to keep all 4 players synced up. Sakurai says to try to get strongest WiFi connection possible."
Terribad netcode confirmed?
The question is too vague.
Garbage last question.
NOOO NOOOO NOOOOO
I need my Jigglypuff!
I think he meant too much freedom. Like starting and not playing, SDing, non-stop taunting, etc.If a brawl had too many choices for online.... Doesn't new Smash have even more choices?
I hope that doesn't translate into "We had a reserved slot for a Pokemon because we cut Jigglypuff."
During the round table? I thought this was a joke in the other thread because I couldn't imagine someone saying that. What a little shit."A competitive Smash player is trying to challenge Sakurai to see if he can win and help balance the game."
And why does party game automatically mean not competitive?
Compared to, say, Marvel vs Capcom, Super Smash Bros has always been more of a party game. He might have meant to say it in the light that Smash Bros is meant to be more "fun for the whole family" than "super competitive galore".
"As far as technical connection issues, we're still working on it. They use async communication in Mario Kart and other games to improve this, but that doesn't work well for fighting games. So there is cascading failure, especially for four players. That is why they ask people to have the best communication system available (eg a LAN adapter)"
There you go
Audino to replace Jigglypuff. What if?
In like... 3 hours or so.Looks like we really going to see Pac Man until tomorrow :'(
30minute trailer for Falcon, Ridley and Geno right after.
I think you're right. The second Sal leak probably listed Greninja as "Pokémon from X and Y" because, as Sakurai just told us, they picked Greninja well before X and Y, based on his earliest references drawings -- and possibly before he even had a name. If the leaker was exposed to the roster in its formative stages, it's possible Greninja really was just known as "Pokémon from X and Y" at the time.I think that may explain why the Greninja leak was worded the way it was.

Maybe mention GGPO. :-X

buttery smooth compared to some of my matches with a friend who lived even closerIt could be asked very directly.
"HEY SAKURAI, CARE TO EXPLAIN WHY MY GAME WOULD DROP TO LIKE 5FPS WITH MULTIPLE SECONDS OF INPUT LAG WHEN PLAYING AGAINST MY FRIEND WHO LIVES 30 MINUTES AWAY?"
*ahem*
Didn't PSASBR use asynchronous netcode? I played the beta and it was flawless.
Neal Ronaghan: Zero Suit Samus won over Kirby. he predicted ZSS winning.
That would explain a lot.I think you're right.
