Short hop fair and bair seem really fast to me. Slide and Rock Upper are pretty slow though, not sure how to use them effectively.
How is not liking this PotD being spoiled? I'd expect something on the NA Miiverse to actually be related to the NA version of the game.

Because I still want to try it a decent amount of time before release. Just because it would improve my hype. Odd I know but that's how it is. If we get a demo closer to release I'm not going to care as much since Ill just wait to play as the characters I want. But being able to play something this Much in advance is always a treat for me.
Hyrule warriors went from maybe to day 1 just because of being able to play it early. Well that and it was quite good.

Dude, I'm pretty sure the announcement of a region-specific demo that was already known about with no concrete information on when said demo would be coming to other regions is the worst possible PotD.
Like, it's even worse than something I could've made up jokingly.
To be honest, can you find a worse one?
-Has no new info
-Promotes something not out yet in this region, giving no details on when it'll be out in this region
-Has to do with something a large amount of the player base is salty about.
Nothing to do with being spoiled, this is honestly one of the worst POTDs lol.

I honestly kind of wonder if Smash 64 is what they tried to style this Smash off of the most. It kinda feels like it.
Yes but Hyrule Warriors is a Wii U game. There are no 3DS games by Nintendo that the demo would interfere with. I'm honestly surprised that the game was delayed here in North America and Europe with the month being completely barren of first party releases.

+Link certainly feels buffed. Even his side smash with one strike and no charge can send people flying and KO. I love his jump attack as well since it gives him some much needed mobility and doesn't have significant landing lag.
+This game is FAST. It is noticeably more fast-paced than Brawl in terms of everything. Yes, there will always be those who say Melee or Bust, but I can see a lot of people enjoying the pacing of this game.
+The music is incredible. Easily the best opening theme and menu music in Smash history.
+Got six kills in two minutes in one match get on my level.
+/-The controls certainly take some getting used to. Maybe because I haven't even played Brawl in two or three years so I'm rusty. They do start to click though. It just feels weird to play Smash on something besides a GCN controller that I've used for thirteen years and still have. Also I keep wanting to C-stick. I do feel pressing up to jump on the stick isn't as responsive as it could be, though maybe it just takes practice.
+/-Glancing on the bottom screen to see who is at a high percentage in order to secure a KO takes some time. I'm just so used to seeing all that info on the bottom of the screen.
-GUST BELLOWS MOST BROKEN ITEM IN GAMING
General other info:
The ATs I've seen are Mother Brain, Isabelle, Ghirahim, Samurai Goroh, Dark Samus, Color Game 15, Andross, Chain Chomp, and Lyn. Mother Brain has quite a bit of knockback on her attack.
Daybreaker is in the game but I haven't seen it used.
You can't throw boxes as far compared to before in my observation.
A lot of new food.

Nice to see all the good impressions and some combos in action. I guess there will be some crow eating from the "this is another brawl" crowd! Game is shaping up damn good, only thing that bothers me atm is Sakurais decision with no customization online when playing with anyone, not even in the "For Fun" mode.

I've seen it used. On me. Mega Man used it and it seemed like it was activated the instant he got all the pieces.
Mega Man hit me with his Final Smash. He's certainly a jerk (though not as big of a jerk as Villager).
Oh shit I just realized you can scroll down in the results screen. It tells you info like time on the ground, time on the air, damage dealt, damage received, items used, etc.

Looking at the M2K stream, I'm beginning to think the Villager might be bullshit. His pocket gives him brief invincibility, and it looks like they're looking to exploit the shit out of that lol. Villager is the new MetaKnight.
