What? Isaac is demoted from assist trophy to just trophy? How could you do this Sakurai? He's more important for me than your exact same clone shadow characters.

Some have mentioned that the 3DS version doesn't have all the assist trophies. So...maybe Wii U? But Camelot is in the credits...we just don't know yet.

Guys, the ESRB leak is the final roster.


As you can see, there is absolutely no set pattern for how the character unlocks happen, they happen randomly. Both streams have characters that the other didn't unlock yet but at the same time have characters unlocked that haven't been unlocked on the other guy's stream.

Basically, if there were new characters, they would have appeared by now.

Well, right now it seems like everyone is missing ROB, so there still could be more, even if it doesn't seem likely.
 
The FS honestly irks me with how unrelated it is with the Koopalings... but the moveset, whoo boy. Can't wait to main Larry, Iggy, and Ludwig.

Is it confirmed that they do turn into him?

I mean, if nothing else, Wendy turning into
Shadow Mario
would be an eyebrow raiser in itself.
 
Has any one started to play on level 9 intensity yet? That seems like it would be the onlu other option for non esrb unlock. At least we will know for sure with the all star lock.

Gema tried a 9.0 run. He got to the last stage, but then died like 8 times to the master core :p

Gema did but she kept getting continues at master core so it bumped her down until she beat him at 6.5
 
I want to see some streamers make good use of Shulk's Monado Arts. Seems like a lot of people choose one at random but then don't use it. I want to see someone switch to Speed and zip around the battlefield, or try making a long-distance recovery with Jump. I want someone to test the durability of Shield at high damage, or see how quickly they can soften up a target with Buster. And I'd like to see how much farther the Smash art will launch people at low percentages. I think there's a lot of potential here, so I want to see someone use them well.

Streamers' main priority right now is unlocking as much as possible. I think you'll need to wait until the game is released and in the general public's hands to get some deep gameplay impressions.

I think I heard someone did. Don't know if they won without dying though.

I am pretty surprised by how fast this is going, without anyone knowing what the requirements for unlocks are. I haven't seen any Smash Run yet either, and it probably unlocks something.

So far it just seems like it's 'play classic ad-nauseum' or 'play classic with character x'. Maybe any more can be used for most of the unlocks. The challenge wall will help us maybe.
 
The ringing out the master core smash ball has to be the most boring thing ever.
Maybe you unlock something if you beat it in less than 10 seconds or something...
