I'm kind of bummed out to see Sanford back with EMP. Dude deserves better. Kind of reminds me of Michael Corleone in The Godfather III: "Just when I thought I was out..... they pull me back in."

Except instead of going back to eating Proscuitto di parma & Bucatini all'Amatriciana, it's back to an endless supply of Spaghetti-O's and Beefaroni. :*(

What exactly does he deserve? He likes being part of EMP and he isn't the only one to feel loyalty for EMP. Let them decide for themselves what they want to play fighting games for, without a motivation they'll all retire sooner or later.

He deserves whatever he wants. If that means playing in EMP then so be it. Doesn't mean I am going to hold my tongue on how I think EMP is a shitty organization run by a clown.

Who is saying anything about deciding things for someone else? The fuck are you even talking about?

You and sanford obviously have two very different views on EMP lol. And yeah I definitely want to see sanford on a big team like EG or MCZ because I think he deserves it. But hey, shit happens. Also if Jago, Dieminion, Yipes, and Justin cant convince him to leave no one can.The only way I see him leaving is if Jeron leaves.

Of course we do. As an outsider I can't see EMP as anything other than a sad joke, but for Sanford EMP is basically family. I totally understand sticking with your closest people through thick and thin and in a weird way I respect him for not completely abandoning them. I just feel like Sanford is easily on the level of the guys in EG/MCZ/coL and if he could travel like they do and put in work on that Sagat then the dude would just be a fucking unstoppable juggernaut in no time.

So I was playing Chun and I beat some random Cody. Zoned him out for both rounds and he was having a lot of trouble getting around it. Get a message that's like "No wonder you don't have any points you're all runaway." Been a while since someone's messaged me total scrub shit.

This dude had like 12k BP with Cody btw.

To be fair, the ham sitting on my Safeway's shelf has been there for 10+ months and is quite dry. Actually I just don't like cheese. That whole lactose intolerance thing.

Forget AE 2012, SF4 HD is where the real money's at lol.

Basically LG has the exclusive rights to SF4 HD and to celebrate it, they're holding a tournament for SF4 HD(held on a cell phone). But that's not it, surely they knew us fighting gamers wouldn't be satisfied with just that, they're also holding a AE 2012 tournament on Xbox 360. There is a US and Japan qualifier with the tournament being held in South Korea. The US qualifier is next weekend. I'm sure plenty of Cali's best will be there with such a big prize pool to win. As for SF4 HD, that should be more random. Who knows how current console SF4 skills will translate over to the mobile version.

I don't have a issue with it because that's the game they're using to promote there phone. At least they also included a AE 2012 tournament with a very good pay out as well. That's going to be the focus of all the players anyways. They know the phone tournament is probably going to be a little random. Either way, the winners are going to get paid pretty well.

It doesn't look any different then any of the other mobile versions. I don't think it's a different game, probably just the same game with higher resolution.

I played for the first time in a long time myself, managed to get about 3 games in 20 minutes or so (PSN). Not great, but not a ghost town either.

My problem is it's been so long since I handled the fight stick, I couldn't pull off basic special moves! I was whiffing moves left and right, it was like I was relearning how to play the game.

I blame my brief flirtation with UMvC3.

One of the funniest things about the moble versions are random ass changes to combos and juggles. In mobile, Sagat can't DP -> FADC -> UC1. You need to DP -> FADC -> f.HK -> UC1 for it to land.

I had a serious hard time trying to do Abel's BnBs in iOS SFIV :lol
