I mean I could mute it but the risk is I don't know if it is actually ruining the drive.
Though it did make this sound when I was looking for an ep of SVU on netflix, but I played something else and no sound.

I might crack it open after I get an estimate. Maybe I can take it to some local folks after EVO.

I can tell Ave is trying. But that's just how it is. You have to keep playing and grinding. Don't expect results overnight, especially at this point in time. And some stuff are stuff you can't do anything about, even the top players fall for it.

I have been playing SF4 for years, and never once have I hopped on GAF to see if anyone wanted to play me. I'll be online later tonight if anyone wants to get bodied by Adon/Dudley.

I'm not actually that good. ;)

The thing is when you have low PP people won't used their main on you...once they realize youre decent, they dodge you and leave. Their ego won't let a 100bp/150bp beat down their 10000bp/3500pp main. I hate it when people do that!

Did you see, kinda early on I hit that combo into EX tatsu with Ken? I about slid out of my seat, with the biggest smile on my face...It's the little victories I have to savor.

I wish. I think I'm sitting at around 1500 or 1600PP these days.

BP for some characters is around 3000, though.

Also, I feel like the online competition on PS3 has stepped up this week. I've been coming across mostly B and A+ level players. Probably because of some EVO people hopping on for some extra practice leading up to the event?

I just discovered my disk drive isn't the issue, as some of my ddls are making the same noise.

This is really depressing haha.

ehhhh it wasn't a good deal honestly. The load times are attrocious on that version for some reason. It is running as slow if not slower than when you don't install the disc data on the regular version.

Also, the PS3 download takes up 20+ gigs. As someone with only 120 gigs, it's a big chunk. I don't know why it is that big though, since it can fit in a DVD on the 360 no problem.

Good games Kadey and AutumnAve. Kadey is clearly on another level from me. While I was able to sneak in a few wins here and there, he was picking a different character almost every match and usually winning. I've got some work to do. ;)

As you could probably tell, Adon is my main. Dudley is probably my secondary, and Akuma is just a character that I wish I was good with.

Whatever you think does not apply to online play. I was watching Valle play the other day. He was basically like I was. Shaking his head at all the mashing going on. He was legit pissed after he stopped playing. LOL.

If i wasn't too lazy to renew my xbox gold membership, I wouldn't play on any other platform.

360 got the best comp and connection.

PC seems ok, timing is different and competition is hit or miss. PSN is just the worst in terms of everything...

PC definitely has the best connection bar none.

Some alts dont gel with each other. If you put an alt that is supposed to go with alt 1 but in an alt 2 slot for example.

It was the other person then.

Another thing is. Some custom alts wont let you use a certain color or colors. For instance the COD Cammy. It only lets you use the colors from 1-5. If you use 6 and on, your game will crash. And. If your opponent uses those colors from their side, your game will crash too. So basically there are tons of alts that will crash your game and if you do certain things it will crash it as well. That's the only downside to using custom alts.

I played on it for evo practice and let me tell ya, every green bar the lobby showed was as a lie. The second time I would join the bar would almost always be orange.

And yeah, people that only mash is disappointing, but if you know they are doing it, just bait and punish. Personally, I'm usually more bored than frustrated I encounter this kind of player.

Oops. I guess I should have looked at your tag before assuming. :)

Hopefully we'll play again, sometime. You play a lot of different characters, so the match-up experience is good for me. Hopefully my scrub-tier play wasn't too boring for you.

The problem I have with Adon is that all my air moves always seem to trade with people. Coming in from the ground usually isn't that bad but the second I go aerial, everything i press trades or gets beaten out.
