If Trump has shown anything, it's that he'll grandstand and do what he wants regardless of what the effect is. If the GE starts going differently than the primaries are I expect him to just double down on what he's already doing.

I agree (speaking as a gay person lol) but at the same time, it would be excellent to see the Republican establishment's efforts just deteriorate even further like that.
