But others drop out because they run out of cash. Bernie has so much money he can stay in at least a month or two.So does every campaign ever until they drop out.

I hope everyone who elects to register to a party here votes today.
I wonder if this will somehow influence the outcome for the GOP:
Looking to November: Clinton, Sanders both top Drumpf - CNNPolitics.com
Does that warrant a own thread? If so, someone please make one ^^

Consistently holding more than 15-20% of the vote, as the states themselves define it.
If he was sitting at 5%, he wouldn't get delegates anyway, so that actually would be a waste of time. But if he's viable enough to get delegates, he should compete for them, regardless of the state. That's an actual representative democracy.
What's wrong with Nikki Hailey? She seems great, the little I know about her.Boy, how awful a candidate is Marco Rubio? Just abysmal.
The GOP had about fifteen people up there - Trump, the charismatic populist and fourteen garbage dumps with shitty ideas. People talk about the Democratic Party not having a deep bench, but someone like, say, Kirsten Gillibrand is about a billion times better than anyone the GOP can trot out here.
I look forward to hot garbage like Nikki Haley being paraded out in 2020 to be exposed as well.

For some reason I never see this argument brought up by Hillary supporters when they say Bernie is unelectable. As though Democrats are going to not vote if he's the candidate lol.reminder, when reading these polls and no matter who you actually support, that we're still 250 days from election day
Can't wait to vote today. I was gonna go first thing in the morning, but for various reasons, it didn't happen. Gonna vote after work. Good news is, it'll give me time to decide who to vote for since I STILL HAVE NO CLUE! D:

Referring to Bernie of course, the election's "honorary woman"!join us in the coronation of our queen.
One can't have it both ways. One should focus on the General Election or not.
Except that the primary sistem is democratic only because the Democratic party says so. There is no requirement to have primaries where the general votes at all, and they could do things behind closed doors if they want to.
Its not like the general which is an actual representative democracy, parties are able to select their candidate how they want and always have been.
Found out last night my registration address is outdated (different county). Could I just go to the nearest place and vote anyway? I'm in Virginia and I couldn't find any yes or no answers. I've lived at my address for over 3 years.
join us in the coronation of our queen. Vote for who you want honestly.

You can usually check your registration status online
Yeah they're free to use it however they please but if there comes a point in the future where it's fundamentally impossible for Bernie to win the primary, he's just siphoning money and support that could be going elsewhere.People are free to use their money however they please. Nobody's forcing them to donate to Bernie.
When all states have had their votes represented, we can talk about what needs to be done in the GE. It's gonna be a long GE anyway.
It's still showing my old address. When I updated last night they said it'd take 30-50 days, but I don't know if you have to vote at the place they tell you to, or wherever you want.

You know, the closer we get to the general election, the more worried I get about its outcome. This is the first time I've been truly nervous about the results of an election - and the chance of a Trump presidency has me worried.
That said, voting later this afternoon!

Your best bet was to leave it alone. I don't live in the county I'm registered to vote in but it's not worth the hassle to change it. Just go to the closest polling center in your old county and vote.
Sounds like you have to go to the old place.
Oh, so nothing then. Good. They all seem great until they are exposed. Christy, Jingal, Rubio, etc. Hailey will be no different.
Thanks.
That's an hour away and I don't get off till 7 so TS for me.
Hahahathat's not colorado >.>
Listening to NPR this morning, a Republican Strategist basically said the only way to defeat Donald Drumpf at this point is for current nominees stay in the race and win their states to deny him winning the nomination through delegates.

I don't think I'll have a chance to vote on the 15th because the Democratic nomination will be determined by then.
What about you?no it won't be. Go vote. That goes for everyone who have not voted through June.
So are they not doing exit polling all day?
exit polls from what I have read start at 5 EST. Full results won't be till polls close.
Polls overestimated her in Iowa and New Hampshire (some did), but then underestimated Nevada slightly and South Carolina by a lot. It's fun being here in MA when all the country is watching what happens here. Things are looking good for Clinton, but polls can be very wrong (like in the last UK elections). Fortunately for Clinton, polls don't seem to have been over estimating her support in the first four states.
But we shall see.
And who is beating who in hypothetical polls that include Rubio and Cruz are alternate universe stuff most likely.

The funniest part is, that even with that strategy it still looks highly probably that Trump wins the nomination anyways.
