I'm too lazy to go vote for Bernie in Temnessee. Even tho my location is literally down the steet at a church. I don't want to leave the house.

Go vote. I don't even care who you vote for. Just do it. I assume you're a younger person. We need more young people out there voting.

Her state is closely contested at the moment. Her endorsement could help him Bernie it, why hasn't she? Backing "some policies" doesn't really mean anything.

Probably because....

1. she doesn't live in the land of make believe where Bernie isn't selling something other than wishes.

2. she, unlike Bernie, is actually a contributing member of the Democratic party and doesn't want to spread unrest/dissension for what is ultimately a meaningless endorsement.

3. she knows Hillary is taking the nom and likely the POTUS along with it. She isn't thrilled about overtly opposing the likely future POTUS that she would then need to work with to achieve anything.

Same reason why Sanders will get in line reasonably soon after today if he doesn't pull a miracle out of his ass. If he doesn't why would congressional democrats support him for literally anything? He's a tag along to the party simply as a vehicle to run for POTUS in the first place, they owe him nothing. If he can't get out of the way when Hillary has a clear victory in front of her and assist in unifying the base heading into a general he's nothing but a negative to the party.

I went with Rubio.

I figured the only three that have a shot to win the primary is Trump, Rubio, or Cruz. So i picked the least scary.

Though I fear nothing is stopping the Trump train.

Corporations pushing Rubio is enough to make him the scarier option to me. Shows he doesn't have the people's best interests in mind.

It was definitely a factor I didn't like. I love that trump can't be controlled but I also hate that. There's just several pro's and con's for each. It was definitely tough for me.

Rubio is more pro rich, pro money in politics, anti choice, anti gay, anti healthcare, pro religion, pro war than Trump. He is just more moderate when it comes to immigration.

Well you thought about it and voted. That's the most important thing. :)

Thanks for answering. Anecdotally, do you get the feeling Trump is going to win TN? Just from stuff you've heard on the ground there.

He's a robot.

He's not. I played basketball against him and his brother when I was growing up in San Antonio while our respective mothers were doing some charity events. No way a robot misses easy shots like that. Admittedly, maybe the firmware wasn't upgraded back then.

Whats wrong with Castro?

Nothing, but he has few accomplishments and he'd be torn apart in a debate against, say, Christie should he be chosen as Trump's running mate. It just seems like Hillary picking a young Hispanic guy for the sake of having a young Hispanic guy rather than because he's the best person to take her spot in case she died.

you do realize that Trump is an act just playing a WWE character and is way more moderate than any of the other Republican Candidates

Rubio thinks that we are still in a Cold War

I'm curious if anyone who voted switched parties in an open primary state? I know I'll consider it depending on what the polls say come March 15th in our state. If Sanders/Clinton are ridiculously apart and the polls are closer on the republican side I'll vote on the republican ticket. I just have no idea would I would vote for on that side

I actually find Rubio much more scary than Trump in every single issue except immigration.
Doesn't he also want a wall? Of the three numpties left with a shot, Trump is by far the least terrible imho. Sees some value in Planned Parenthood and not turning a blind eye to poor people dying in the street? That's worth something at least.

Plus he's going to be way more entertaining.

Oh I agree. If my choice was limited to only the GOP I would vote Trump.

I totally want my future president to have been playing a fucking wrestling character during elections. Yes, this "its just a prank bro" method of campaigning is a-ok and totally not destroying the tone of discussion on huge variety of issues.

None of the Republicans are remotely electable in any sense though.

Again, I'd rather a clown than a snake. Cruz would knowingly trash this country. Trump might trash it. He might not.

I'll take those odds.

I rather have a WWE character as President than have a Neocon Warmonger (Rubio) beholden to Big Oil, the Kochs & the Sauds
Hillary 2016!

Because she's a progressive Democrat and Bernie is not. She's working within the party system, and so far Bernie has done so less so.

Ideologically Bernie is closer to her than Clinton, but he's more outside the party system than reforming it as Warren is doing.

Warren is playing some weird kind of long game by holding off her endorsement to either candidate.
Either that or something weird going on behind the scenes.

Endorsements are kind of meaningless and there really isn't any upside for her in endorsing one over the other. Rhetorically and on economic issues, she's closer to Sanders' views, but it's not going to do her do her any favors to upset the Clinton brigade.

Just voted in VA for Bernie. My wife voted for Rubio for the lolz. Can't wait for vote for Hillary in the general election.

Corporate Kane 2016.

She's holding it off until there's a nominee to help bridge the gap between the Sanders and Clinton coalitions. I realize it doesn't mean 'much' but every little bit helps.

Drumpf is a yuge wildcard though. He's such a bullshitter none of us can say for sure what he would actually do. While he has the potential to be better than Rubio, he could also be worse.

There's no way the anti-Hillary crowd is bigger than the anti-Drumpf crowd so she has it locked.

Yes! I love him and have secretly been hoping for him even though I know it would probably end up causing more damage than help. He's a great person and very charismatic.

Booker should run for President one day. He was smart to sit the election after Obama out though.

Sandersforpresident is already calling Warren a corporate sellout because she didn't endorse. I really really hate the mindset that you're either pro-Bernie or you're a corporate sellout. SHE DIDNT ENDORSE ANYONE ANYWAY. Good hell that pisses me off.

In a few weeks the mods of r/Sandersforpresident will be the only true progressives left.

Because she knows the writing's on the wall and her a more effective job would be to play peacemaker between Bernie supporters and Hillary later on.

Only a Bernie Bro deals in absolutes.

It's the holier than thou mindset Sanders has cultivated. He is right, everyone against him or not supporting him is an establishment operative and corporate sellout. I'll vote for him in the general, but he is definitely not my choice for President.

I'm glad she didn't endorse anyone.

As much as I dislike that term I agree.

I think there's some truth to it but I agree it has gotten out of control.
