Character interactions are definitely thrown out of balance this season. I sort of miss the times Kara, Winn, and James would congregate in that empty office and plan out how to save the world from the threat of the week.
It can be extremely awkward. I think her scenes have been very realistic so far, and from what I'm seeing from other lgbt friends it resonated with them too.So is coming out as awkward as the Kara's sister (can't remember her name) made it seem or was that just a case of awkward lines?

Could be more awkward. She could have been in love with her adopted sister. But that would have been creepy.

"Coming next season on Gotham..."

Yeah that's one thing I always thought was weird.Coming to season 1 of "The Flash".
This show's not exactly subtle. President Wonder Woman, alien amnesty, alien guns, etc.

My best friend who is gay thinks the story of it is pretty awful with Alex suddenly being all "Oh wait,I'm gay". She went through a similar thing but she doesn't believe Alex could be blind to it and not aware, says "You know" and just don't act on it until an opportunity triggers you to act.
The actual confession scene she thought was pretty on point though.
Well, Alex's "love interest" last season was Maxwell Lord, who may or may not have ever even existed, as far as things are going this season. Like, I wonder if the actor just flat out pissed the showrunners off or something.
Jane Doe broke up with Maxwell Lord. That might be related.

They don't seem keen on getting him back either, Fem Luthor is basically there to make us forget. Maxwell who?
It's really odd that they don't even mention him at all. Like there can only be one prominent CEO in National City at a time.
Also, It's weird that James dresses the exact same way even though he now runs CatCo. It's like he misheard the old adage and he's "dressing for the job he used to have."

I don't know. I'd be pretty weirded out if James started dressing like Cat did.
Yeah, I feel like his absence is especially conspicuous because they don't mention anything at all about him. Even the "previously on" montages never feature him. It's really odd that they don't even mention him at all. Like there can only be one prominent CEO in National City at a time.
I'm actually trying and failing to remember what the end-of-season cliffhanger involving Lord was.
He secretly gave General Lane some Kryptonite bombs he had developed. That's about it for his cliffhanger.
I... forgot the Lanes existed too. This show, man.

Sure, probably. But he was pretty integral to the first season and now it's like he never existed. They should at least explain away his absence on the show. They probably learned they could get Luthor, that Peter didn't want to move and that the audience didn't really like him.
Touche. He is dressing for the job he wants to have...
Imagine if they hadn't gotten cold feet and merged Supergirl's earth with The rest of the CW Verse, they could have explained this with Barry fucking the timeline.
IT’S SUPERGIRL VS. CYBORG SUPERMAN — While Guardian (Mehcad Brooks) tries to clear his name after being accused of a murder committed by another vigilante, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) heads out on a solo mission to rescue Mon-El (Chris Wood) who has been captured by CADMUS. While fighting to free Mon-El, Supergirl comes face to face with Cyborg Superman (special guest star Tom Welling). Glen Winter directed the episode written by Robert Rovner & Paula Yoo.
Well it isn't Dean Caine but the callback is more or less the same. Guess Lois & Clark was just a bit too far back for it to work.
We're finally going to seeTom Welling put on that goddamn Superman outfit.
Where is the source about? I need to send that to a friend of mine who is a fan ofTom Welling.Smallville
I think it's supposed to be a gag.
