Awww, this sucks. I didn't think I would be this disappointed at Peter coming back as Spidey. What started as a bizarre and off putting concept ended up becoming one of the best runs I have ever read. Superior was so much fun.

I hope the repercussions and fallout from Superior affect Peter's life for a bit. If Marvel buries all of this in less than a month I'll be so pissed.

Not happy about losing Superior and Ramos has really lost my love, but:

I want this in poster form.

Now that is a kickass cover. I hope they keep some variation of that lettering for at least a few issues.

“I do feel people will appreciate him a little more after this. I do think people have been taking him for granted.”

I hope he doesn't mean fans because everyone loves Parker. Only the people that matter do anyway.

I'm always so fucking annoyed that major twists like this in comics are broadcast in press releases months before they happen. Like, why even buy the fucking things now.

How will the issue that reveals it have any weight at this point?

I bought and read Dying Wish on Comixology because of this thread. I really didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. If you don't really follow comics and are just curious as to how they killed off Peter Parker (at least temporarily) I highly recommend giving it a read.

Now to dip into the Superior series!

how bad was Doctor Octopus as spider-man?

Did he act like a crabby old scientist? (sorry I'm out of the loop on comic doc ock)

I'm not even sure how to answer this. He's just a really crazy version of a good guy with Otto's attitude.

I wouldn't even call him a good guy since he does everything for the sake of his ego.

They have to do it that way for marketing and so that shops will know how many copies to order but even then it was obvious that the next arc of Superior was going to be the last one since its ending when the movie comes out, features the confrontation with the main villain of the Superior story line, and was announced with the tagline "The End".

Threw Vulture into a spotlight. Created thousands of spider-bots to patrol the city for him. Shot and killed Massacre. Smanging a little person.

Doing a bang-up job.

You mean how good.

I one issue he pretty much told the Avengers to fuck off and created his own super team. He's a pro at this super hero business. Of course, things didn't end up going well for him, but I blame that on Parker luck

His first month in business he ran Kingpin out of town and destroyed Shadowland. You know the demon created building that killed hundreds of people no one did anything about.

So i really don't read comics and read superior spider-man.
So there was seriously a death tower sitting in the middle of a city and no one did anything about it til otto did?
