This will probably get snowed under by all of the other gaming news and what not but I just wanted to highlight a title I've been enjoying loads recently as it's still criminally overlooked. The tl;dr is: Smash Bros. mixed with League of Legends in a battle royale setting. That's it. Now go play and have fun!

It's super accessible as well and that's coming from someone who has no interest in the typical MOBA fare. The fact that it features snappy WASD movement rather than mouse-based movement probably helps a lot as well as all of your third- or first-person hero shooter skills will transfer over with ease. Now I could wax lyrical for much longer but not sure how big of an audience there even is for this type of game on GAF, home of the "TURRIPAL AEY" starved masses lol.

If you do jump in make sure to unlock the new hunter, Beebo, asap as he's ridiculously fun. You just bonk people away while they try all of their abilities on you and fail miserably.

I think a game like this is similar to Counter Strike (or the more typical MOBA's) in that it's specifically designed for M+KB controls. A controller player just wouldn't be able to compete with the fast and precise aim.

Although I imagine there'd be ways around some of the limitations of a controller for this specific game I reckon. Not exactly easy to implement though...
