Yes! Glad one of the people on the outside of the big alliance (or at least at the bottom) found the idol. Hopefully Malcolm and Corinne can work some magic.

Sorry, I don't drink the Kim Kool-aid. She went against what was arguably the dumbest cast in Survivor History.

...not this argument again

Much deserved elimination.

You could have easily stayed, but you decided against that. You're dumb.

Yeah. She could of easily swayed the vote. Would of been a more interesting result, but I'm satisfied the fans didn't at least sway and vote Shamar instead... I'd have no words if that happened.

And Sherri is currently taking down an alliance who can't do math. I don't see how you can diminish Kim's accomplishments as simply being against a bunch of idiots (she made them look like idiots) and praise Sherri for knowing that 6>4.

Seriously, I'm surprised she didn't do the usual "throw my allies under the bus for one more tribal council" thing most people would've done.

She could have easily survived that night, and then if the team won, had at least a few days to set herself up nicely since alliances shift so often.

Well, she was dumb enough to join the Can't Do Math Alliance. I doubt she considered the possibility.

Yeah, I wasn't surprised she didn't actually save herself, she showed the amount of brain power she had when she joined the minority alliance.

Kim was good at challenges. That's about all I can give her. I mean... she went against a team that went to tribal council despite winning immunity.

fans are great, favorites make me want to turn the TV off except for malcolm, and erik/brenda but they're getting ignored. I keep waiting for reynold to make otter noises like bradley cooper in wedding crashers

are people really still pretending Kim isn't a great player?

I don't understand how anyone could say that Kim didn't play a brilliant game that season. You have to play the hand you're dealt, and she handled hers perfectly. Based on how she played, I'm pretty sure she'd have played just as well against much smarter and more competent people, too.

True, but this isn't math...just basic self-preservation. She must've genuinely believed Laura and brown-haired racecar driver girl were going to flip...which, I guess, shows how lacking she was in intelligence.

when kim saw the competition the first day she should have left the game because they wouldn't be enough of a challenge. that's what russell and boston rob and parvati would have done.

everyone saying Hope's dumb, you realize that we got to see pretty much none of her thought process, right? Pretty sure it said she was a pre-law student, too. I can't believe how much shit the four person alliance is getting, I'd be really surprised if all of that actually went down like we were shown. They probably thought they had a few more people they could use - which yeah, shows a lack of some self awareness, but it's not "lol the cool kids don't know how to count." There's a lot of game going on every season and almost none of it gets shown (and what does get shown gets twisted around). For all we know Hope and Michael were best friends out there and that's why those four thought they'd end up with the numbers.

She obviously got a bad edit -- most players who don't make it far do -- but considering she was one of the people laughing in the water about how they were the cool clique, I don't think you can say it was totally unearned.

Catching up late, but I can't believe Hope didn't take Shamar's advice. She deserved to go. I expect Eddie and Reynold to flounder next episode. The Pretty People Alliance is just awful.

Sherri the Shamar Wrangler is my favorite player so far. She reminds me of Kim. I like how easily she set-up the split vote. The favorites aren't ready for her (assuming she stays competent).

Why was Laura in the player of the week list? She didn't do anything. (Didn't even follow through with the idea that she suggested.)

Keeping Shamar isn't gonna work out in the long run unless he really tones it down. What good is staying loyal to your alliance if there is no one left to stay loyal to?
