Troyzan is an idiot along with mike. If someone comes to you and says "so and so is trying to get you out" and he is in your alliance you go talk to that person to see if someone is lying or not.

Keep in mind, Troyzan and Mike were on opposite sides before the switch. Mike was a part of the Bill/other dude young guy's alliance and wasn't really liked in the tribe anyway. I don't think it was a stretch, especially if Kim had known they didn't like each other already. I doubt she would have tried to make Troyzan think Mike was after him if she thought they were close allies.

It's also worth noting that we really have no clue what goes on, we only see what the editors decide to show us. There could have been underlying issues between Mike and Troyzan that we weren't shown.

Before this episode I was rooting for Troyzan, but after this last one I am all aboard the Kim train, if only because she is actually playing the game. I also hate Chelsea for some reason, probably because of post-merge actions.

So yeah, seems like Kim has a lock. Although next weeks episode seems to imply scurrying, but I doubt the men can pull off a bait and switch with the immunity idol. I can see Christina and Alicia having some power soon, but they will probably do nothing, as per usual.

We've still got a ways left to go, but from what we've seen so far, Kim might be the best first time player since Todd. She's controlling every aspect of the game perfectly, and seems to have a great read on all of the players in the game. She's making things look easy.

Yeah, and like Todd she's been able to manage the twists/changes of the game very, very well. The difference? Todd was in a game with some incredible, all-out players. Kim is surrounded by half-wits.

If this season boils down to "Lets just vote off the other sex" then that just fucking sucks. It's by far the most boring strategy to watch.

Not a fan of really anyone left. No leaders or people that really strategize. In fact, they are all quite boring. Season started off so strong too.

It's not just voting off the other sex; the merge boils down to two teams still competing against each other and whichever one gets ahead can then simply pick off the other team for the next several votes. They need to shake that up a bit.

Poor Jay. Having to rely on reassurance from Kat of all people.
He is SO out of the loop.
Kim could probably tell Troyzan that Jay was after him and he'd believe it.

Jay needs to talk to Chelsea one-on-one. She broke rank last week and she'll do it this week too.
Not sure Jay is capable of picking up on that.

Beyond that, the only scenario I see unfolding in that instance are the girls turning on Chelsea and cutting her loose. Girl wears her emotions on her sleeve. If she wavers, she's done.

No way can Jay pull her in and get her to swerve the girls.

Jay is so oblivious. If all the girls dropping out means nothing... Well, you deserve to be voted out.

Leif is a moron for taking Chelsea's 'not a threat' spiel seriously. I'm just embarrassed for all the guys.

As much as things are falling Kim's way right now, she really seems to be playing "super hard" right now. Almost too hard. And all of the girls are getting a strong edit tonight... even Kat.
If it falls down to 6 girls, I'm not at all convinced she can work the same magic on them.

That was an exciting tribal. I'd like to see how the votes shook out.

These men are all idiots. Well I knew this after they said ok to going to tribal after winning immunity because fucking Colton, but their stupidity is the gift that keeps on giving. Jay deserves to get voted off after throwing immunity for some fucking chicken wings. Then he goes and tells the girls Troy has the immunity idol. Idiot. Troy seems to have some common sense atleast, but he will be next out now unless he wins immunity. These women seem to have no concept of what will happen once they vote off all the guys either. There doesn't seem to be much internal strategy between them. Game has gotten boring now.

Sucks that Jay is gone. He was the only one I liked 100%. Troy is fine but he's a little annoying. It sucks Troy and Jay have Lief and Tarzan as their "fellow men" when they're off doing their own thing. Oh well, Mike, Jonas, and Jay on Ponderosa will be good. Was sort of hoping Jay was going to dodge the vote and Alicia goes home but Tarzan's playing a different game and Troy was out for revenge.

I hate when it happens. The only time it got interesting was Vanuatu.

This was one of the most intense and one of the best episodes in a long while. Anybody who doesn't think this season is exciting clearly has a screw or two loose.

That being said, man Jay is a dumbass. Telling the girls Troyzan had an idol? Seriously? That shouldn't have happened. I feel sorry for Troyzan because he's obviously got game, he's just stuck with a bunch of nitwits on the male tribe.

I can't wait for Tarzan to go. Also Alicia has gotten enough of a villain edit that either she's going to make it to the final 3 and get shot down hard, or she's going to go down in glorious flames soon.

My bet is a final 3 of Kim, Chelsea, and either Kat or Alicia.

Wow, messy finale. Good guys unity:

-Jay throwing Troyzan under the bus
-Tarzan voting with the girls
-Leif trading immunity for a burger

Kim has it in the bag. She's even got the female equivalent to Stephen on her side. Should be interesting to see the Ponderosa ep this week.

She'll be one of the most "alpha"-dominant female winners of Survivor ever if she holds form. Only Parvati really played a game as strong as the one unfolding right now.

Cirie showcased similar skills but she never managed to win her first season and the All-Stars always gunned for her out of respect the other two times she played. Kim is totally employing the Cirie bag of mindfuckery here, though.

Thing is, I think she's got her hands full with the girls unless she's got a number of Final 2 deals with everyone we haven't been exposed to. I can easily see Leif or Tarzan get overlooked as non-threats as the girls turn on each other once Troyzan's out of the picture. For some reason, I see Tarzan instrumental in snuffing Chelsea's torch. He's beginning to settle nicely into 'Phillip Sheppard' mode.

Jay is a goddamn idiot. Pisses me off. Not only did he fuck himself over he fucked over Troy and his fucking hidden idol. Fuck.

Not sure how Troy could have salvaged this. Maybe he shouldn't have played the idol with how everyone somehow knew he had it and then he could use it for another tribal council.

LOL at Jay rightfully getting voted out. What a fucking dumbfuck, he screwed himself and every other man. This show is over.

I don't understand that idiot Tarzan voting for Jay, what a tard, and Leif voting Alicia. Idiots, all of them, they deserve to go home collectively. This is some infuriating stupidity I'm seeing here.

This season btw has been really terrible, contestants all suck.

What a boring season. The guys are idiots. Troyzan finally figured it out and even though they had one chance to get a girl, they STILL voted in different ways.

Troyzan, Leif, Jay, Tarzan and Christina could have easily bonded together to do something. But they don't think.

Kim has this.

BTW, finished Palau the other day. Good season, Tom is the shit. And Ian is a fucking retard. He got played by that stupid girl that never seemed to lose weight. Was straight out of a high school textbook.

Starting Fiji right now.

My favorite seasons are still Cook Islands and Heroes vs. Villains. All-Stars and Fans vs. Favorites were really good too. And basically anything with Ozzy.

Everyone outside that inner-circle of Kim/Sab/Kat/Chelsea are total lemmings, except Troyzan. Straight up embarrassing. Promo shows the possibility of a Troyzan comeback, so he's probably going home soon. Kim is a decent player and all, but the field this season is incredibly weak. Jay in this episode especially: just, wow. Him, Tarzan, Christina and Leif deserve to get picked off - their voting ignorance was so heinous.

Pretty solid episode, I've always liked that bucket challenge with food rewards for quitters. Did anyone else here look twice at what the hell Tarzan was wearing? Found the answer on sucks:

Amazing.

Hahahaha

Holy crap, I did not notice that.

I was thinking that if Troyzan had won immunity, he could have given Jay the hidden idol.

But that probably would have screwed them over somehow anyway and another guy would've been voted off.

I knew Tarzan was wearing a female's shirt, but yeah. Wow.

And yeah, Jay shouldn't have told them Tarzan had the idol. He should have let them throw the five votes at Tarzan, and the three votes at him, and voted for Kim along with Troy and Christina, and maybe Leif.

Deservedly went home. Oh well. I liked him as a player, but I didn't know he was that dumb. Well, he is a model, so that actually makes sense.

this has been a terrible season; and while I admire the women's strategy - they're winning - man, there's just no game. No scrambling. Nothing. Jay is a dumbarse for not suspecting anything, even with the chatter going on at tribal. Maybe its the edit; but Troyzan's + Alicia's chatter should have sent alarm bells going off.

That said, tarzan voted for jay; which was the odd vote. And makes me wonder. They might bring him to the end; and he's a genius for getting there.

kim's fully deserving to win. What with her split vote strategy. Can't say I think the season has been watchable since colton left.

Leif is a moron for taking Chelsea's 'not a threat' spiel seriously. I'm just embarrassed for all the guys.

He's useless at challenges and his stature would mean that individual challenges where you have to do real serious racing/climbing etc - he would be COMPLETELY USELESS. If He was in my game; that's what we'd talk about and keep him around. Leif should know he's not even a threat and just enjoy the rest of his survivor holiday in the sun. Eat whatever food jeff throws you and yeah.

I still can't get over how completely useless tarzan and leif are. Why didn't the guys get together and get one girl to vote with them? I can't remember her name but there is the one girl that none of the other girls like. Why didn't the guys get her and vote together??? blows my mind. I guess the girls are just good at deceiving and getting the guys to believe whatever they want. I'm rooting for Troyzan now I guess, or one of the hot girls with big fake boobs.

Troyzan had a sound idea, but...

-Jay refused to believe that the girls would turn on him, so he threw away his vote.
-Tarzan opted out of his alliance long ago and just votes on a whim.
-Christina can't seem to put up a fight or hold a grudge long enough to actually understand Survivor strategy. Jeff even thinks she has no shot at winning.
-Alicia thinks she is somehow on the inner circle of her girls alliance

After seeming like he was sharp up to this point, Jay just completely imploded. I can't believe he had the wool pulled over his eyes that much. Troyzan tried his best, but he just couldn't make anything happen.

I was a little surprised, too. The one Survivor quality he had was a sense of when something was up, and he was on the outside looking in. He sussed out the Colton-and-the-misfit-men alliance, he knew something was up with the Mike-is-gunning-for-Troyzan ruse, and (early in this episode) he suspected that Alicia was not the real target.

His intuition was three for three. And he even made the correct move of discussing these issues with people (rather than just hoping for the best). But, for some reason, he was easily placated by the women last night.

I think that last week, Alicia and Christina were specifically told not to vote for Mike, in order to make Troy and Jay doubt the women's alliance. And it worked, just long enough to get rid of Jay.

I don't understand why everyone hates this season? It has / had it's problems (Colton), but it's the best season since 20.

He may be a fucking asshole, but he did make the show interesting to watch at least. And with him gone prematurely, the season hasn't been the same

I think it's been very good. It has changed since Colton left -- and we'll never know how things would've gone had he stayed -- which makes it feel almost like two seasons in one. But I've liked it a lot.

I agree. This has definitely been an exciting season and while the outcomes may be "boring" this was probably one of the best idol-related hysteria votes since Earl and co. took out Eduardo back in Fiji. Glad somebody who had the idol actually made a play with it: if Troyzan hadn't used it or threatened to use it, he probably would have went home with the idol in his pocket.
