People still use debit cards?
People still use debit cards?
Yeah, got it today as wellI did get my email from Nintendo to say they are getting ready to debit my card and preparing to ship.
Midnight at BestBuy!
I have a 512 pre-paid, but called my local Gamestop to see if they had any 1TB cards so I could swap up. Nope.Alright. Got my GameCube controller now. Got my console and pro controller in person at GameStop so I'm good for a while now.
Will source a MicroSD at some point but the included 256 will last me a bit given I'll only be using this for exclusives/my switch backlog. Will try to wait for at least 512s to be readily available.
That's cool. It'll be nice to see a lot of people there hopefully walking away happy.
I've got all I need preordered at Best Buy. I wonder if I'll have the most shit when I walk away that night, cuz...yeah I got a lot of stuff lol
If you have Costco membership. Another way around is if you have a Costco Gift card, membership is not required.
Didn't get one. So forget you Nintendo why don't you love me.Was probably mentioned, but another round of invite emails went out for preorder tonight..9:00pm cst.

I got an email from Nintendo today. The subject line was "Regarding Nintendo Switch 2 purchase invitations from My Nintendo Store".
I open it and it says
"Regarding Nintendo Switch 2 purchase invitations from My Nintendo Store
Hello Celcius,
On behalf of the My Nintendo Store team, thank you for registering your interest to purchase the Nintendo Switch™ 2 system from Nintendo.
We wanted to let you know that you're still in the queue to purchase, and to share with you a handful of updates on what to expect.
What happens now
There's nothing you need to do right now.
The first invitations to purchase through the My Nintendo Store have begun going out. Invitations will continue to go out periodically until all eligible registrants receive an opportunity to purchase (as they become available). Due to a high number of registrations, we can't provide exact timing on when you can expect to receive your invitation.
When it's your turn, we'll send you an email inviting you to shop.
If you pre-order or purchase Nintendo Switch 2 from a retailer and later receive an invitation to purchase Nintendo Switch 2 from My Nintendo Store, you are not required to purchase the system from My Nintendo Store.
When to expect your invitation
We do have a lot of registrations and apologize that we can't provide exact timing. Rest assured that we'll continue sending invitations past the system's launch date.
How to spot your invitation
The invitation will come from no-reply@noa.nintendo.com. Please be sure to add this email address to your safe sender list and check your inbox's Junk, Spam, or Promotions folder.
The invitation email will be from "Nintendo."
The subject line will include "It's your time to purchase" as well as your choice of system you selected when registering.
One thing to note: Once you receive the invitation email, you'll have 72 hours to complete your purchase from when you receive the email, so be ready to act quickly!"
Not sure if this just to assure folks that they're still in line or a nice way of saying they won't be getting the system at launch...
You and me, both.Dear Walter,
We hate you.
Love,
Nintendo

The only release game I'm interested in is the Bravely Default remake.Personally I don't find the release date line-up that great except for Mario Kart and maybe Bananza.
This year I'm looking forward to Mario Kart World + Metroid Prime 4 + the DLC and enhancements for Kirby and the Forgotten World.Personally I don't find the release date line-up that great except for Mario Kart and maybe Bananza. What games are y'all peeps who're getting a Switch 2 this year hoping to see announced this year? That is, only announced, it can be released next year or in the next three years. Personally I want to hear something about mainline Zelda so that my speculating and dreaming can start and get wildly inaccurate by the time the game releases.
