Tales Of Zestiria is coming to PS3/PS4 October 16th and PC October 20th

I don't completely hate the font this time, woo.

Guess we have to wait until who knows when for Bamco to announce the LE? After like 15 leaks of it I guess? :D

Man, I hope the CE this time is cheaper than Xillia 2's. Dang thing was $130.

$99 is the sweet spot for CE's for me.

So... Anyone else want to start trying to get the PS3 version of Vesperia ported to PC? I'd help with that! XD

Now I'll have to decide if I want it on PS4 or PC... hmmm...

No.

Leave it alone.

Nonsense.

This is Neogaf, we have to believe in near hopeless possibilities.

I was going to get this on PS3, but fuck that noise definitely nabbing that PC version. I hope it runs 60 fps with good AA, but I hope that's not asking too much.
It prolly is.

Well hooray for finally getting official confirmation on the cross platform/gen release.
I'll still be sticking with the PS3 version, though.

For those who played the import, I read some character/story spoilers and was wondering if it was true that Sorey and Mikleo
are loosely canonically a "couple." Or at least romantic in some sort of way instead of just being queerbait.

Very tempting on that PC version. I hope NB does a good job on the port and gives us some actual decent graphics options this time.

PC as well? Oh man, oh man! That's amazing news! Cannot wait! I hope the other Tales eventually make it to PC as well.

It's not about believing, it's about Vesperia begging in every single Tales thread being annoying as hell.

How have Namco Bandai been with PC ports in the past? I'm only familiar with Dark Souls and Dark Souls II, one which was god awful and the other being fantastic. Total opposite ends of the spectrum.

Going to get it for PC if the ports doesn't suck. Seems all the big Japanese games are starting to show up on PC. Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy and now Tales. Really happy to have invested in a gaming PC"

A PC version is very cool to hear. I used to love the Tales series but haven't played any since Vesperia. This came out a decent while back in Japan, right? Anyone happen to know what the general consensus is on this one? If it's worth getting, I'd definitely be getting it on PC.

Finally an actual official confirmation.
The leaks were getting ridiculous.

In for PC. I hope the port is good, they've been working on it for a good while now at least.

Also, the recommended specs on store page seem surprisingly reasonable. I wonder who's doing the port.

Wasn't Naruto pretty fucked up too? It depends on who's doing the port I think. Dragon ball turned out fine since Dimps could handle it.
Naruto (both 3 and Revolution) are barebones ports, but they run fine despite the 30fps lock and easily the best version of those games.

Graphics options wise they only had resolutions options and an option for 2x SSAA, iirc.

I wonder if it could show up in the Steam sale. I know the announcement is tied to E3 but the timing also works for the steam sale.

I thought the Naruto games ran fine, aside from the 30fps limit because of the engine or something?

Was that all? Oh, I thought I heard about more than the animations/engine making it locked to 30fps. Then again, some PC gamers do complain even if it's just that.

IIRC the online mode was broken for some months too, though I got the game and played it just for the single player, so can't comment much about the online mode.

Almost 2 million bought the Dark Sous 1 port.

This is how we actually end up getting all these games though. Usually port quality increases over time.

I think the issues with the Dark Souls 1 port are somewhat overblown. The actual game ran just fine, fairly well optimized, and I had no crashing issues. Along with Durante's fix releasing literally within minutes of release, it wasn't all that bad.
