Funny guy! He was mad, because I didn't tell him how you get up to the Sniper plattform on Goldrush 3-3. So he decided to follow me around next round as a Spy on 1-2 and tell his buddy, who was sitting with him in LAN and was Sniper on the BLU, everytime I showed up.
Something like this is obviously a request for complete humilation. Attacked his Sniper buddy on the left plattfrorm, while he only stood there as a Spy and watched us. Took a few steps back, taunted his friend, who runs toward me and gets blown up by a rocket from below, while I still was in the taunt animation. :lol
Oh and we only lost the Granary game because I switched from Spy to Heavy! Wanted to help a bit more with the final push and 2 minutes later we were fighting on the other end of the map.

Played a few games in the past days on the Love me Sexy, was pretty cool.
Craaaazy round of Well yesterday. Sciz was tearing me a new one all throughout the round as a heavy with a medic escort. They ended up in the third level of our base above the 2nd capturepoint and kept raining hell down on everyone on the bottom. After trying unsuccessfully to tag him from a distance Doytch (pyro) and I ran up with an uber ready to flush him out. Unfortunately Sciz's escort had one too so what was supposed to be a quick and dirty ambush turned into a ballet of death and destruction. At one point I miss stepped and fell through the hole but managed to get my 3rd Medic weapon after cratering, just before the map ended. Did we end up getting you Sciz?
You just get on it with an initial jump, then just strafe towards the slope, do not press any movement keys besides that. To increase speed you look(turn, not strafe) towards the low side of the slope. When you transfer between slopes, you want to gain speed by aiming for the low side of the slope, then turn back to the high side when you go off the end to launch yourself upwards. Use gradual mouse movements, not sudden ones.DyobolikaL. said:

I remember that moment, since I was his medic. :lol I already thought that it had gotten a little too quiet upstairs and planned on telling Sciz that he should be on his guard by now, but then you two ran up to us right when I wanted to write a message. We got a little lucky there too, because I only had a fully charged über for a couple of seconds. Shame that the round ended shortly afterwards though, since I wanted to see if we could've survived down there.Javaman said:
Another funny fact from that Well game: at one point there were three heavies in the water attacking each other (me and Sciz vs two heavies + a medic of their own) and somehow Sciz still survived (even though I got gunned down). :]

I'm definitely up for some more TF2 tonight. I would have been bored of most other games by now, but it's the TF2 players that make this game keep buzzing. With you as Medic, Sciz as Heavy, Won as Spy, Kak as Demogineer, Volcano (LOLZ) and all the other regulars there's always something crazy going on somewhere. This game is like digital crack.

Also, major lulz @ when Capndrake, Dygit, and myself were on 2fort2furios. They were playing music and a song about cocks came on. I had my computer up loud without headphones on. I had to hit the volume on my speakers really fast so nobody came in asking about it. :lol

Maps should feature more deep water, in general. Aquatic fights are fun, and make for neat killcams.
I should probably also take it as a sign that despite my demo playtime being nearly twice as long as any other class, people only complain about me when I'm a heavy.
I love the new CTF well too Sciz. And I feel the same way about other classes too, even when I'm doing great, people only pay attention when I'm heavy, even though I've only just now reached the point where its my most played class.

I finally learned how to play engie proper today. Between the last match I had on Fastlane this evening, and watching Kak move into different teams bases like it was metal gear, setting up sentries and teleports, I kind of got a grasp on how to "play it right." A good engie is a huge asset to say the least. heh.
I think Mr. Snoozey or w/e didn't realize how useless he was as a sniper. After four straight rounds, he only had like 10 points. Yeesh. Fun times tonight! I'm doing pretty well as sniper recently, though Bunny can still own me in a sniper duel. :/

Man, I was doing fine on that map and the game just froze on me. :/ Detonating stickies in the air is fun stuff.

I hope we never play Cave ever again. Hated it. Liked Steel now that I finally got to play a decent match on it, though I have to agree that it's a little too complicated in its current form. Also seemed kind of odd that there was only one way out of the B spawn point when you're on the attacking side, unless I'm mistaken. We never got out of there once that place was loaded with red guys.
Pro-tip: when übering someone, move in first when there are enemy turrets nearby. Makes it a lot easier for your patient to move closer, especially the slower classes like the Heavy.Mistouze said:

Bah! I felt like trying some new classes yesterday, so I rolled Heavy, Demo, Scout and Engie. I kept switching cause I kept getting angry at various things, but Engie was crazy. I got so many points by just having a teleporter. :lol It was used like 50 times in goldrush pt2.

The map is soooo overcomplicated. Not only the 5 point concept, there are closed doors and holes everywhere. The mapper should have tried it with 4 or maybe even only 3 points instead of 5.
Steel has an introduction video (Still the only custom map with one I think), watch that. Or just create a private server and run around the map exploring.
Remember that each captured point does something:
A: Opens door between A and E, opens door between A and B, closes RED spawn exit to A, makes B cappable
B: Moves RED spawn from between A/B to between C/D, closes off original RED spawn, opens gate between B and C, makes C cappable
C: Extends 3 bridges to E, makes D cappable
D: Closes RED spawn exit to E so they have to go the long way around
E: Victory (Can be capped at any time)
