It looks like they've added a little segment at the beginning of soldier training that teaches you basic movement. Other than that the training is the same, just with a fancier menu.

I'm tempted to put a donation script on the server that just spits out a message about how paying for bonuses is stupid and then announces who tried to pay for premium features.

Apparently when you kill people in TF2 proper birds will sometimes fly out of them. Also, Nameless Item, Level 25 Map found in beta.

New crafting interface is up and running now. I like it, because it means you don't need to worry nearly as much about sorting your backpack. Assuming they've gotten rid of having to 'find' recipes by actually crafting an item, it also means that you don't have to go searching for recipes when new items are released.

Whenever that happens to me I get so annoyed...but it is hilarious to watch. Poor Medic...I feel your pain.

I don't think so. I think it was some other medic.

I've been getting some weird, but hilarious glitch with some weapon models not showing up correctly while watching replays. It's hilarious with the huntsman because it's all mangled and the sniper just throws the arrows instead of firing them.

[Puyo] Medic here. I haven't played seriously for over 8 months, so I don't know half the game changes or new maps. I want to get back into the GAF server soon. Need to fix all the keyboard and mouse bugs that are happening. I'm trying to play TF2 solely in Steam for MacOS for my iMac, so I know there are some settings I need to change.

The update must have caused some weird lag, I got it every now and then on the GAF server tonight.

And Yeef add the asymmetry maps to the server so we never have to play Swiftwater again.

I wish I could talk. For some reason my shitty mic stopped working in-game after I installed some drivers. It's been like that for a while now. I was going to replace it, anyway, but it does suck not being able to warn people about Spies.

Haha, someone was asking that? Kinda stupid, but maybe he wanted some friendssssss. New, maybe?

Forkball, I had some lag issues as well. Very annoying. I'd get killed and the cam would show me someone inside a building that I wasn't even in. I also had some sudden stops in the action that lasted for a second, but mostly when I first joined. Didn't stick too long after that.

so i turned on the damage done in the advanced options

i now realize how damn weak all the pyro primary weapons are
all the pyro weapons rely on the element of surprise if you want to use it effectively

the degreaser is worthless without the axetinguisher, the combo is really nice, but i rarely see anyone use it well
the combo doesnt work for soldiers, because you're practically dead if u take a direct hit with the rockets are melee range
and for full health heavies, you need to set them on fire, and melee them twice, and it's hard to get that second hit if you poof them first, and by that time, they already aimed onto you and have enough health to kill u

they need to put back that 50 hp in the backburner and/or buff all the primary weapons

Yea it was some random non-regular.... He later went on to say that he was bi-sexual. Which is great for him I'm sure, but there's a time and place for everything and online video games is not it.

Edit:
Also, the Pyro balance has been all wacked out since the beginning. I think they try to make it so the after burn is meaningful but doesn't actually kill anyone and as a result it's pretty useless. Add in all the bleed weapons that cause damage over time and the pyro's main "thing" is just a joke.

I also have a side-theory going that there's like this super pro pyro on the development team that just schools everyone and they can't buff pyro because that one guy will be unstoppable then.

They didn't used to be. The Pyro used to be the ultimate close-range danger. It didn't have the gimmicks to get in close like the Spy, because if they got in close, they were going to wreck your face. And there was no Jarate, no Mad Milk, no Backup, no Concheror, no Amputator taunt, even when airblasts were added, they didn't extinguish until the Sniper update.

Then I guess someone on the dev team decided making W+M1 Sword Demos would fill that niche, and they rebalanced Pyros to require you be a god with airblasts. Which I liked when they were a gimmick people rarely used, it was fun to mess with, but now every Pyro I run into is some perfect pro at it. Direct Hit, close range, tricky firing pattern, it doesn't matter.

I've seen it. What's kind of annoying is that even on a very low ping server, I can be looking right at them, and they've killed me with the Axtinguisher before the game even shows me them switching to it.

The maps are already on the server; they're just not on the list because I haven't gotten the chance to see which ones are 5cp and which are A/D so that I can write configs for them.
