Yep, never was a fan of unusuals. Other than the very rare cases like orbiting ghost Ze Goggles, the effects just look dumb.

Price on trading sites is about 13 keys or 15 dollars
If you want to get rid of it I would trade for the keys and then sell them on the marketplace for money at over $2 each

Scout is the best.

The only TF2 mode I can do decent in as Scout is MvM. Something about that movement + Scattergun.

I decided to craft my junk hats and metal and man, I got a good haul. TWO of the Heavy Sampson hair, sniper sweater, reindoonicorn, Captain Dan's cans, and the Hitman badge. Very surprised I didn't get some totally junk item. Although I do have to suspect the chances of crafting two of that heavy hair.
