I usually keep it pretty clean, but will do that.

By cleaning it out, I mean it take the whole laptop apart and clean it out

Check the fans inside, reapply thermal paste on CPU and GPU, etc.

Forgot to say earlier, but you should check your temperature while gaming too.

Whatever the case, Burn Notice eats up enough of his time that he couldn't be involved in the new Evil Dead like he wanted too; though a movie takes a lot more commitment than some voice lines.
